Broken link on page 1 of this thread. --> KMS_VL_ALL (by abbodi1406, consistently maintained), please fix. Working link, found here https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/kms_vl_all-smart-activation-script.79535/
@maxama123 : done. I wonder why there are sometimes such strange errors. Before, links are working and then (without any further action or change by me) they don't. Glad, when someone detects it and informs me so that I can review and correct.
The mentioned existing KMS_VL_ALL link links to the old forum part where it was originally, since it got moved to the sticky threads in the KMS section.
Office 2021 will be available for both Retail and Volume License and there will be a special Office LTSC only available for Volume License? That means Retail and Volume License Office 2021 will use the same update channel which different from Office 2019?
I am in trouble with OfficeRTool release 2020/June/12: I ran the "check for new releases" and then I "download office offiline install package". I did the same in four different computer (3 win 7 and 1 win 10) and I always obtain different "last good build" versions! On Win 7 pc's I have older versions while on Win 10 I have newer versions. I use the same tool version and the Internet connection is good. Help me to understand!
You cannot install Office C2R on Win7 outside the restricted ESU version 16.0.12527.xxxxx [/QUOTE] I am confused, please help me a little to understand. I read that page but still I don't understand: Office Build 16.0.12527.xxxxx - I can install only that version on Windows 7 that's why OfficeRTool let me download only that version because it understand that this is Win7 and not Win10? - can install 16.0.12527.xxxxx only in Windows 7 that is with the newer patches from ESU or I can install it even on a Windows 7 that is without the new patches (i.e. not BypassESU installed)?
BypassESU is for Windows updates not Office latst version from 16.0.12527.xxxxx range contain the latest security fixes for Office C2R you can use Office C2R Extender to allow instaling new versions, but be advised that latest versions are not compatible wth Windows 7 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...osoft-office-2019.75232/page-169#post-1644670
16.0.12527.21594 is the very last feature build (as declared/defined/restricted by Microsoft). That's the build OfficeRTool detects and offers for download on Windows 7. Out of the box, without modifications, internal C2R Office update routine will update only to this build (on Win7).
Last questions: 1) 16.0.12527.21594 is the very last build for Windows 7, because on Windows 10 we can download more recent builds. True? 2) I can install 16.0.12527.21594 on Windows 7 without BypassESU or it will works only on Windows 7 with new patches of BypassESU? 3) Office C2R Extender: I really don't understand. It is made for Windows 7 to install on Windows 7 versions above 16.0.12527.21594. Because Windows 10 can already install versions above 16.0.12527.21594. True? If is true, what the needs of Office C2R Extender if you say that the latest builds don't work with Windows 7? Why someone shuold use Office C2R Extender on Windows 10
Yes 16.0.12527.21594 don't need any Extender or Bypass-help. It's the last valid build for Windows 7 and will install without problems. Yes, 'Office C2R Extender' was created by abbodi1406 to circumvent restrictions made by Microsoft and to enable installing later Office builds on Windows 7. It turns out that the latest Office builds don't work on Windows 7. MS changed something in Windows 7 and/or Office code. So OfficeExtender is not helpful any further. You don't need to use Office C2R Extender on Windows 10. Windows10 does run latest Office builds without problems.
I try latest Build 16.0.13628.20448 on Windows 10 using YAOCTRI and it works. I try (latest Build for Windows 7) 16.0.12527.21594 using YAOCTRI, on two different Windows 7 pc's, and I have the issue: "Cannot find the file C:\Programs files\Common files\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRun\OfficeClickToRun.exe". While, if I use the old Build 16.0.12228.20364 it works without any problem on that two Windows 7 pc's. I ask this last help.
