Can't explain why this happened. Never had 'such a problem' in my test environments. You are the first reporting this since OfficeRTool was developed. Some reasons: - Maybe it could be, some remnants from an older Office installation interfere here. - Security-/AntiVirus-software is blocking OfficeRTool functions. In such puzzling situations I always suggest to remove Office with OfficeScrubber. This deletes Office completely from system providing a clean basement to restart on. Deactivate AntiVirus-software or create exclusion rules. What to exclude? Look -> here. Then install again using OfficeRTool (I.) If the problem still exists, please precisely describe all steps you have taken, so I can reproduce your error. Be sure to list product name, version, bitness and language of used Windows and Office. To include in your next bug-report (if there is one), start command-shell and provide output of following commands after Office install: Code: reg query "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Office\ClickToRun\Configuration" /v "InstallationPath" reg query "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Office\ClickToRun\Configuration" /v "ProductReleaseIds"
Real life needs my full attention at the moment and consumes all my time. So I won't make any promises. But I'm still willing to support OfficeRTool.
Is there any method/tool to activate Office 2016 C2R Retail installation w/o volume + KMS method. May be with something like retail key + offline confirmation ID generator.
I have installed Office 365 with Office Deployment Tool and activated with KMS_VL_ALL_AIO (0.41.3). The activation has worked so far, but I do not seem to have all the functionality in Outlook /threads/outlook-question-about-quicksteps.83385/#post-1655109 Can this be due to the activation or what did I wrong?
I used OfficeRTool from my external HDD to download Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise to my Documents folder and moved it to my external HDD. When running Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise's start_setup.cmd, I have the attached command prompt window with just a tilt and not Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise's install window too (It's supposed to have both) or I have the latter but it hangs in the start. Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise isn't installed in both cases. I used a 19041.1 Enterprise x64 pt-pt image.

I may be mistaken but after installing Office 365 you need to use C2R-R2V to convert it to VL, it adds extra Mondo licence to it while keeping original one intact , then Activate it with KMS_VL_ALL for activation.

I suggest asking yourself questions first: Do you need a stable version for your daily work? Do you need the cleanest (licensed) activation? Are you satisfied with recurring activation over the Internet or do you need offline activation? If you use Microsoft Office only for yourself and are ready to spend time reinstalling the office if clearly necessary, and activation is needed like a digital license for Windows 10, then I recommend Office 2021 with an official MAC key. This option guarantees minimal difficulties in activation for the current year, but creates a small risk of getting unexpected errors when updating the office. After completing testing next year, reactivate the office in the way that was relevant at that time, or reinstall it completely. But since this came. - Why do we still need to download Office 365 ISO if all the versions are already included in the Office 2019 Pro Plus ISO? - Why can't we go with Office 2019 with PerpetualVL2019 update channel?
