Do you need a stable version for your daily work? Yes. But OK with updates. Do you need the cleanest (licensed) activation? Yes. But any safe activation is fine for now. Are you satisfied with recurring activation over the Internet or do you need offline activation? I'm not sure what to say. Maybe OK with either of them. Thanks for the info.
That was written to simplify things since many people find it difficult to use a script like YAOCTRI and figuring out local installation source in OTP (to be able to install O365 with O2019 ISO). For those who are willing to do advanced things, I've added the advanced info section.
office 365 c2r is installed on my win 8.1 using OfficeRTool for a long time and is working just fine ..but i can no longer use OfficeRTool (latest version)..the window opens and closes immediately..the tool still in same folder on C:\ any help would be appreciated
After updating Windows 1909 to 20H2, Office 2019 activation was lost on all of my computers. I had to re-apply builtin KMS activation of OfficeRTool. Is this a bug? How can I set it to periodically re-apply the activation in the background without interrupting the user? Thanks
'Auto-KMS' is not integrated in OfficeRTool. If you want a "set-and-forget" solution use KMS_VL_ALL by abbodi1406. This one provides Auto-KMS.
An doubt, how to access the fonts Bierstadt, Grandview, Skeena, Seaford and Tenorite on any app of Office 2016, 2019 or I have to switch to the Monthly Office Channel in these versions?
I have input the font names on Font tab in Main Page of Office to see the new fonts... Is this valid?
I've installed the fonts on my Win10 this way: - Open Settings. - Click on Personalization. - Click on Fonts. Select, drag, and drop all the font files into the "Add fonts" box to install them.
I realize the questions I am about to ask seem to anger longtime Windows Power users but bear with me and be kind, please. If you install the Windows 10 Pro Arm preview on and New Mac Mini M1 (Arm processor) using Parallels with native Arm support for this venture, Is there some reason that the latest version of OfficeRTool will not open? I know it is command-line-based, but, is it that the ARM version of Windows 10 will not properly run this type of command-line application[officeRtool]? I intended to install Office 2019 for testing using this tool, but that was a no-go, and then I tested KMS_VL_All 41r (just to see if the activation status app would work) and this seem to run as admin. ORT does not open period, I could go back to my Office2016 ProPlus MSI and install but I am gun-shy that 41r will not do its job even if the 2016 is a Volume Lic, as ORT cannot convert a retail copy if it will not open. Can anyone give me some direction as to what will and won't work on Windows 10 ARM? I could go back to the old AutoKMS method but I am not sure that will work as well and now That Win Defender flags it even if an exception is created so that is not a really compelling option
OfficeRTool will need an update to be compatible with ARM64 Windows 10. However, the latest KMS_VL_ALL and C2R-Retail2Volume scripts are fully compatible with ARM64 Windows 10. Let us know if you see any issue with them. BTW I didn't get what you mean by ORT. Also, you can use YAOCTRU to download the latest Office C2R files and YAOCTRI to install them. Both should work fine on ARM64 Windows 10.
Thanks ... ORT "Office R Tool" YCU it will be.. "YAOCTRU". I would also assume MAS 1.4 will not work for an insider preview, especially an ARM version.
today i keep getting this message when opening Excel (there's a problem with your office license) i uninstalled Office 365 then used OfficeScrubber then downloded and installed latest version of Office 365(beta) using OfficeRTool ,converted to vol . and activated ..but i still get same message ,i checked license OK...
Thanks for the report. Seems like MS extended the detection of non-official Volume installation of the Office, the banner is also new. Office 2019 on the 'PerpetualVL2019' update channel should still be a way to not get those banners. Updated the info here https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1653090/
