depends on your case, If you have a SFF case then you need to get a micro or mini atx board If you have a full size atx case then yes

Yes, sir. No, you can't use that intel Xeon E3-1270 V2 with that Mobo. You can look for a compatible Mobo from the prior link I provided earlier because the processor is more expensive than the MSI B360 mobo.
That processor is compatible with Gigabyte G1 sniper 3(has Z77 chipset) and M3 or Gigabyte GA Z77 series(almost all Z77 series). You are likely pointing to two different motherboards in your post.

he thought he had to install Win server to run a game server.. i was going to suggest reflashing bios with ch341a but i doubt he can do it.
