    1. Remove any and all support for IA-32 applications (Meaning get rid of WoW64 and all related components), making it an exclusive, 64-bit only operating system;
    This has already been done for ARM!

    2. Completely remove the BIOS/MBR bootloader and all of its related components so the OS can only boot on x64 or AArch64 UEFI systems;

    3. This is the most crucial one: Compile the entire operating system exclusively for Intel Coffee Lake+ or AMD Ryzen 3000+, maybe by making the OS require an instruction or a set of instructions only available on these processors.
    That way, no matter how hard people tried, Windows would not run on unsupported hardware. It would be technically impossible ( or almost).
    Actually only this 3rd option would be enough.

    I believe one of these three will be done for Hudson Valley/Windows vNext.

    Your suggestion 3 is completely unreasonable. M$ would lose compatibility to many applications running on the OS, not to speak about drivers.
    Your way of thinking here is completely unreasonable and a waste of time.

    An OS developer never should restrict older CPUs because of the purpose of restriction itself.

    So let me properly complete your title:

    If MS Really Wants People To Not Use Newer Windows Releases On Older Hardware They Should: give up their actual OS development entirely and start a new one from scratch.

    I mean why should M$ have the right to claim that their OS should only run on new hardware but their w11 is nothing new?

    Once they had one called Singularity.

    (OP)
    No need to be rude everyone, no need to offend me or my post. I was just expressing an opinion. Anyway I did correctly predict Windows 11 would be 64-bit only, and it was initially a guess I pulled out of my arse. I could be right again.
    If none of the stuff I post sounds relevant or is interesting to these forums then I'll refrain from posting anything and participating here from now on.

    Thanks to all who were respectful with me.

    Mods can delete my account permanently if they wish to do so.

    That's perfectly fine.

    I don't let survive personal addressing.
    People need to learn to post counterarguments without addressing person.
    I did the same.

    BTW
    I reverted your initial post if you don't mind.
    If you do anyway let me know.

    That's right about opinions. I also posted mine which is completely contrary.
    Anyway OP has to be respected and not personally offended.

    I'll close here, nothing new to be on topic to be excpected.
    If OP wants to have it still removed, report it please.
