Understood. I had to do some reading/catching up. I read back a few pages to find this. So, Is this also why we currently can't install 1809 from an 17763.1 .ISO? Is it believed that 1809 will be re-released to the public? Also, whenever that is, what's the consensus on if we'll be able to install from ISOs made from the 17763.1 ESDs? Or will there be new ESDs/ISOs?
I am tired of Microsoft Windows 10. I will offer my surface Pro 2017 and buy a MacBook Pro. Apple OS is better and with just a few bugs.
Uff Maronn’, how'd I know I'd get one of these pointless answers. I was looking for opinions. If you don't have one, or can't formulate one, say so or GTFO.
What need is there for opinions about something MSFT would do? Nobody, outside of MSFT, knows anything about it. I can say "it will be re-released", i could also say "that car is green", none matters, what matters is what MSFT factually will do...
Maybe MSFT has already done what is spected for now, 1809.107 works fine or at least good enough until next CU. It is just my opinion as a user after a week with .107.
no way compare to 17143 this build runs like s**t im running I7 with SSD with 24 gigs of ram at times it lags or freezes or crashes my comp at times fells super slow. im testing in another box 18277 and that build runs smother than this go figure.
My 3 PC´s and 3 LT´s none higher than I3, no SSD, 4-6 Gig ram, work fine, comparable with older 10 versions, could your lack of performance be due to non MSFT causes?
yes im talking about 17763.107 runs like crap on my laptop...compare to 17143 wish i was running on the same machine before i upgraded to 17763.
the upgrade went flawless i dont think clean install is going to change anything...i will just wait it out for MS to clean out more of the bugs and once it becomes public them i will fresh install it.
Wouldn't bash MS too fast, is likely to be a driver issue. No probems with performance here on either the desktop or even my old Core2Duo notebook. Both uogrades from LTSB 2016.
well it was running flawless 17143 i dont think a driver issue would change in this build....no issues in my device manager and im not getting any error nags or error messages in the notification window...dont let yourself be fool MS developers havent made this build public for a reason they dont like it...my opinion MS should skip this build and move to the next one to me is unstable maybe is just me having that issue but let wait and see if devs clean it up a bit more with CUs and take it public if this build ever does make it.
I would say that this the weirdest release (or half a release) I've seen in my 20 plus years of computing junky. Well Windows ME was a real Dud. This build is pretty fast put has few weird reactions. Main screen shifts after screensaver starts, MS accounts needs to be repaired almost everyday. Removable drive folder pops up on taskbar then runs away after reboot. I think that this should be called Windows 10 Canada pot edition. Sometimes it's high and sometimes it's down.
Looks like some people somehow forgot to look for the real root causes of *their* issues. I've seen do far 3 different machines with 1809 (2 upgraded, 1 clean installation) and all of them are working 100% smooth and stable..
