    Has the brightness issue been fixed for laptops or
    1. it continues
    2, this bug has been supplemented with newer bugs in newer updates.
    I did try to get it rectified through creating a task on startup but it still is a hit and miss.
    Only experience it on laptop on 1809 and not 1803.
    Even the latest Intel Graphics Driver posted some time back had a restart loop. Wonder if the days of hassle free updates are gone forever and it is better to stick to 2 year old OS than live with crash and burn.

    I'm not that sophisticated :biggrin:

    i manually built download.windowsupdate links for KB4464455 using sha1 hash from UUP
    and was checking it daily
    but it was not working until yesterday

    WU use standard similar links

    Best way to integrate updates is W10UI script, it's the Updates Installer in OP on first page.

    No, SSU first, next CU, if the SSU is already installed, you only need the latest CU.
