I'll just wait another month or 2 to install 1809 on the Main Rig or main test rig. Just waiting for MS the RS5 insiders & other Guinea Pigs to test it more to be satisfied I wont have any problems. I generally will always wait on a new final version.
I would assume so, but when scanning with WUMT against Microsoft update, I can see 2018-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4467708). I am currently on 177603.107 installed manually via KB4464455-v2, base ISO 17763.1, not IP. So it might need to reset some flags to make the transition from what is perceived by MU as IP. I don't have much time right now but will test in the next few hours, if the new release is not retired once more.
