it is better to use DISM in admin mode to install cabinet files.

It wouldn't take you much time to check that the registry tweak simply calls:
    @="cmd /k dism /online /add-package /packagepath:\"%1\""
And requires you to run it in admin mode. It's the same.

As abbodi1406 pointed, for that .reg to work properly, .cab files must be re-associated to explorer.

Buildfeed has just posted a new Build. Will this be released ? If released, will it still be on the Release Preview Ring ? or for General Public ?

    10.0.17763.168 (rs5_release_svc_prod3.181129-1331)

lol .168 still doesn't correct the action center problem when background apps are disabled (via main switch).

Did you expect that bug to be fixed from .167 to .168?

I expect any small fix or fixes to be added when a build number changes, independently if it's only +.001. That one just seems to be taking very long to show.
It stops displaying messages if you disable the main background apps switch (after a reboot), it happens since rs5 preview builds.

I don't think so, in my opinion, until they fix these bugs in 19H1 and test that those fixes work well for a while, they will not move those fixes to the build 17763.

It also shows old notifications that were already clicked on, sometimes days ago, and also spams Focus Assist notifications sometimes while gaming.

It's not a bug. I checked it in RS4. When you disable background of one app, you'll not get notification from it.

It's a bug. Under it, notifications for other x64 apps (or anything not listed in there) will still show in the notification area, but the action center will fail to list them (or anything else). Even the "No new notifications text" will be removed.

    That makes sense, thanks.

Never noticed the focus assist notifications bug, but I have both the summary disabled and the "show a notification when focus assist is turned on..." disabled inside "when playing a game", etc, even if auto-focus assist is still active on those scenarios.

Yes, absolutely, it is especially for the people who are not at ease to type lines of commands.

Can we expect at least some basic dism usage knowledge level from members of a tech forum that is almost all about DISM usage?
