You'll just be converting from EVAL to NON-EVAL so you can activate it. It is still GENUINE (MSDN) You can verify the hash.
Ok I tried finding an explanation of what the SVF files do. So you download an EVAL ISO from MS and the SVF files also come from MS? Where can I find the official ISO hashes as the MSDN technet site is no longer available?
@Enthousiast My friend gave me a Windows 10 Enterprise genuine product key as he owns a company. Is there an official link to download the Enterprise ISO directly from Microsoft? I don't want some hosted ISO on an external site if that's possible. PS: When I did try to enter that key on my current Windows 10 Pro installation, Windows instantly changed the edition to Enterprise and it was activated but I don't feel that' right maybe I need to do a clean install to get the real deal I think it just did a license switch but not the actual upgrade to Enterprise.
Crap man...that was easier than I thought. Should have just downloaded the tool to start, but I like to read what I'm going to do and looked like a huge process with hunting down the right base ISO and SVFs, etc...didn't realize this tool automated everything - thought it was just to apply the SVF. Thanks again!
Enterprise. Pro-edu and profws are just a license switch (virtual editions) of Pro. So by entering an Enterprise key in a pro install it will instantly switch to Enterprise.
Wouldn't we all, but not possible with corporate versions for us mere users. The tool these guys made available for us is the next best thing. I also had a little trouble understanding what it does and how to go about using it, but it's so easy you overthink it, just run the cmd file and make your selections. There's your official iso. The bulk of the download (eval version) comes directly from MS so there's no issue with speed.
You will need .iso en_windows_10_consumer_editions_version_1809_updated_dec_2018_x64_dvd_d7d23ac9 Then svfx.exe Then the.svf file you want to convert to
When you have the 17763.107 en-US iso, download the crosspatch for 17763.194 en-US iso, put it next to the 17763.107 iso and run the patch, now you have the source iso for your desired 17763.194 iso. Download the desired 17763.194 patch and download any of the tools at the bottom of the post to use with the source iso. SVFtoISO_370.exe can be used to convert the svf to svfsfx, for simple doubleclick conversion. Batch_Extract can also be used: put the content of the zip next to the patch and source iso and run the batch file, it will extract the desired iso for you.
The MRP project has an option to shut her down (not remove), did you try it (need to use it during install)?
