I'm still having some odd issues with it. For the most part I think it was the changes they made under the hood that is messing with software. I was also surprised to see that there is legitimate driver compatibility issues between 1803 and 1809.
There are also other important bugs en 19H1, the sleep function is still broken, they made some changes in the latest build but they didn't solve the problem completely, this function is very important for the users of laptops, there is also the "blinking bug" every time the Start menu or Search are open and so there are other bugs, IMHO, version 1903 can't yet be considered "stable".
TBH, if anyone wants to stay far away from all ( if not all then most) the bugs & needs the OS to be rock solid & stable, then use just an older /earlier version of the current production build i.e. current is 1809, so use 1803, or just stay away at least for first 1/2 months from the current /latest production build channel
I was building a laptop last week and exported the drivers from the initial install, it had 1809. I installed 1803 with the same exported drivers and was surprised to see that handful of them were not installed. I did this because I was modifying the image with MSMG first and then upgrading to 1809. Once upgraded to 1809 all of the drivers were working again. Prior to 1809 I have not seen Windows 10 reject drivers from other Windows 10 builds. EDIT: Synaptics was the big on causing problems. When I got 1803 installed the touch pad was dead, had to use a USB mouse. In device manager you can see the problem. If you search 1809 on catalog of updates you can see loads of 1809 specific Synaptics drivers, they do not work on 1803.
How many times do you have to tell us that you're on a "legitimate" windows? If that's so important to you, then take your issues directly to Microsoft support, "professor"!
LOL yeah he thinks that he deserves some kind of medal because he's on a "legitimate Windows" like we all are on cracked versions or something.
Thanks @Windows_Addict you are right I heard there is many issues in october update until now I feel that microsoft is interested in 1903 more than 1809 which failed
@cengizhan @joluboga & @Ultra Male I think our professor won't be posting anything about his wired (personal) issues & experiments with his legit version of Windows here anytime sooner. And I am about to comment the same that @Ultra Male you've already said that every time he emphasises on 'his legitimate version' of windows so profoundly, it feels like indirectly he wants to says that all or most of us here use cracked/pirated version of Windows & like he deserves some privilege & attention for using a genuine version of Windows. Cheap attention seeker. Anyone who's following this thread can see how this OP is being cluttered by his personal issues that he continues to post often. Disgusting AF.
