I created a windows usb with the 2019 iso (ltsc), but it has no touch screen drivers in it. I wanted to see if anybody knows if it is meant to include them or if it is meant to come by updates. I don't have internet on that computer so I can't test automatic updates.
There's no touch screen driver in the device manager, even under hidden items. Do you think it has to do with being a windows live image that runs from the usb, forgot the name of that? Does anyone know if I can download it manually to add it offline? I found the touch drivers on windows site but I don't know which the generic version is that windows would install. Or would any of the manual update packages in this thread include that?
I have 64x 17763.316. I think it might be because it's the usb. I tested the same version fresh installed on the sdd and it works. I checked the driver version for HID Touch Screen where it works on the sdd and it says 10.0.17763.316, but that seems to the Windows version. Couldn't find any other details to find the specific driver to download from microsoft update catalog to install manually.
It's dell. They don't have any touch screen drivers on the website. I think it's meant to come from Windows for Dell laptops. Maybe I will try the other version of Windows (not 2019) on the usb. I think I was reading in this thread that was the better version anyway. I have to double check.
