Sure. I think Microsoft just wants to mess with me. It's not there in KB4537818 and KB4594442 and KB5001638. I had to take that specific OOB update because I wanted to keep using Edge Legacy. Which I worked around by extracting the latest SSU and installing that with the old rollup.
April installed fine, but May did not for me and returned (KB5037765)... Failed (0x80070032). Someone have an idea what it might be? LCU fails for me on 3 machines, but with a different error: 0x8007371b. Looks like the Cleanup breakage clusterf*ck reached RS5, too. One machine where I had the opportunity to skip Cleanup updated fine. Any hints how to fix that? Baseless?
@abbodi1406 I'm puzzled by how things so evident pass even the most basic QC process. I understand a bugs that affects, a CPU family, only if on SATA drives, only in Simplified Chinese language if the year is divisible by 400. But a update that fails install is unforgivable. Means no QC at all.
I managed to get KB5037765 installed by restoring my 17763.1 base install. So, using 17763.1 base + 2024-05 LCU installs, whereas 17763.1 base + 2024-04 LCU (also installs) + resetbase + 2024-05 LCU (fails). It remains to be seen if the 2024-06 LCU will also fail with 2024-05 installed, as was the case with 2024-05 failing with 2024-04 installed. Could my problem have something to do with having done a resetbase after installing 2024-04?
