BLACK RECTANGLE INSTEAD OF TEXT - in VARIOUS UWP APPS ( sticky notes, snip & sketch ) after upgrading from 1803 to 1809... The apps functionality is OK... only the TEXT on ALL THE BUTTONS are black rectangles for no apparent reason... buttons can still be clicked, but after I input 3-4 chars inside 'sticky notes' app my-own text is converted to that black rectangles as well. Does anyone know how to solve such issue ? Example - 'Sticky Notes' UWP app: Spoiler Please note: I've opened 'Store' and updated any built-in app ( sticky, snip & sketch did have any update since upgrade to 1809 ) My main 'Windows display language' & 'Default app lanuage' is the default (from ISO) US ENGLISH, I NEVER changed that. My 'Country or region' is US, and my 'Regional Format' is 'Recommended ( English [US] )'. This issue happened to me before on 1803, but since then i've CLEAN INSTALLED 1803. ( but issue came back after upgrading to 1809 ). ALREADY PERFORMED: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /source:WIM:J:\Sources\Install.wim:1 /LimitAccess ( with 1809 US EN ISO mounted as J: ). sfc /scannow REBOOT Thanks

Damn ! it's NVIDIA's G-sync fault, being configured to work in 'Windowed and full screen mode'. Once I set it to work only in 'full screen mode' ( only ) - ISSUE WAS SOLVED !
