Apparently I found a missing import in ntoskrnl.exe in watchdog.sys from Build 7963, so I'll use the ntoskrnl_emu to fix that. I'll make new thread with the files and stuff.
I have a laptop with no CSM and ryzen 5 3500u and vega 8 graphics is there any possible way to boot windows 7 on it guys I gotta be testing out everything from past 6 months please help me
Hi for people who wanna know which version of win 8 beta boots on a uefi class 3 physical machine is windows 8 consumer preview I tried every single beta build and came out that consumer preview can be installed without any issues just like normal . I tested it in a physical laptop release on 2022 .
My last idea is that using windows 8 consumer preview boot files on windows 8 dev preview. Why dev preview ? Because it looks like windows 7 once you disable all beta features. Also the dev preview is the version before win 8 consumer preview so I think we can use win 8 consumer boot files to boot win 8 dev preveiw
So my question is that is it even possible to use windows 8 consumer boot files to boot windows 8 dev preview on uefi class 3
Flashboot Pro DOES NOT WORK! Hang on "Windows is loading files", you literally cannot even load into the PE.
You Can Simulate The Situation By : 1 - Disabling CSM 2 - Enabling Secure Boot (Note 1: You Must Use Windows 7 With Integrated update KB5017361 To Enable Secure Boot) (Note 2 : Yes, I know that Update Supports Secure Boot For UEFI Class 1 & Class 2 Machines) So If You Disabled CSM Completely And Enabled Secure Boot, You Have Simulated UEFI Only PC.
They Released Update v3.3P , Don't Forget To Disable Windows Security Before Launching App (Note : The App Is Completely Safe, But The Newer Exe May Needs A Newer Digital Signature)
Thanks but the point is that is not my problem, I'll likely avoid any class 3 machine until the end of time. Perhaps I have an uncommon situation with my UEFI capable machine booting via Clover, the other are BIOS only, so it's a scenario that wouldnt lead to definitive answers.
