This is good news. Boot time almost not improved and design also....good chances that it'll fail. Its success is only guaranteed if the better competitor is eliminated by lawsuit. Even in the US the brand new Samsung galaxy S3 has already higher sales than the IPhone 4S which is on the market for more than one year. Status symbol, no piece of high tech, restricted and non-customizable...overprized for sure. Enjoy.
Personally, I don't believe in those apple marketing fairy tales. They create a big hype around their products, making their customers (or better, disciples?) going crazy. One iPhone prototype was "lost" in a bar, another one is now "stolen". I think it's again made up to give some food to the hungry lions. But why should I spend so much money for mediocre, restrictive and proprietary technology... it's not about technology, but about status. And so the customers act, if you critisize Apple. I'd only buy non-Apple technology. Not because I love other big companies better, they sell a feeling as well. Snobbish and the like. Better enjoy Android freedom (i.e. open source). If you believe wiki, they got 68% world wide market share. Of course Apple tries tu sue them But these are just my two cents. Concerning the iPhone 5 - another new hype, people going crazy about it, lots of $$ to be made with. Same old, same old. And at least those law suits keep the market interesting. None of both companies will really be damaged financially. Competition is good for business, or so they say. Long live Android!
I bet Apple has instructed a 'worker' to leak it to create a hype....pffft who cares. Little Apple has 3 times less sales than Samsung
They have not changed the dock connector. Apple does not change, Apple ever improves. 'Only this special new design and place guarantees our extraordinary end users most of performance.' BTW: Do you think they can make a call with it? I mean not when only held with 2 fingers instead of the whole hand...or do they need to revise the antenna again? Welcome to the world of sarcasm. Glad you are here.
An old classmate of me is a big Apple lover and always buys the newest iPhone once it is released. I really have to look closely to the phone to see any difference or new additions to it and that's why I hate Apple products. They only do very minor changes and call it directly revolutionary or something you have never seen before. I think that most people also buy an iPhone to show it off to friends and not to have a good functional phone. I'm pretty sure that the time of Apple is passing, they lost their mind of good products (Steve Jobs) who saved the company with his ideas many years ago. Now he's gone am I sure that there won't be something new from Apple that will be a big success, maybe a few they had in development for few years now but after these will it end. Both Microsoft and Android are catching up and growing into a better operating system then iOS and since their phones are created by big phone manufactures is there plenty to choose from. I give Apple 2 years, then it's dead and not so popular as it is now. Now I go to the supermarket and get some popcorn for 12 September, if I don't come back then I choke from laughing while eating popcorn.
I see what you did there, Apple. Of course, changing connectors to make sure customers buy new products or a crappy expensive adapter (which will somehow force you to buy new equipment anyways if you don't want to stick with that adapter)... keep it strict proprietary. Excellent way of binding customers. And what's that rubbish with a nano sim? Not that it's only Apple but how small is a phone suggested to get that I'd need a nano sim? Panem et circenses again for the Apple customers. Make it somehow bigger or smaller, add one or two minor changes... going to be bought anyways.
