All of the people that want to run win 8 RP or RTM are going to need some way of activating win 8 or kill the time bomb. So some of you really smart people that can do this kind of thing really need to get serious about this...time is running out!!!
it is too early to release an exploit. The wise people will wait until after windows 8 goes to RTM, when the windows code is final
Daz, the maker of the Windows Loader did took a short look on the activation of the Developer Preview but it's indeed still too early to come to a conclusion. It would also be rather stupid if someone makes an activation right now, the builds don't need activation once you got hands on them or the key is released by Microsoft. And if someone got a working activation "crack" then will Microsoft update it before releasing RTM.
If I remember correctly, Daz said a few months ago that he doesn't like the Metro UI, so won't use Windows 8, and thus won't make a Windows 8 loader either. But I'm sure someone else will take up the challenge
Those who say it is too early are right. It never had been different before. The fact that one doesn't like w8 doesn't mean that the one isn't interested in that matter. Vista had been a crap OS also and... Btw: Honest W8 supporter should buy a valid license to remain authentic. Anything else would be.... you may complete this sentence on your own.
Definitely, I am a huge fan of the Metro UI and Windows 8. This is the biggest change in Windows history. So, I'll definitely buy a Windows 8 tablet/Ultrabook when they come out.
According to Steve Ballmer M$ expects 500 Million Windows 8 Users by the End of 2013, you will be one of them. And I am sure you have some money left to afford the requested windows 8 Programming eBook by yourself as well.
I have the money (it's only $8), but I can't buy directly from O'Reilly because I don't have an international credit card.
Doesn't sound that euphoric as some years ago with 7. Empire struck back. At "Dr. Faust's" words saying "Ghosts, that we called", we can see, that M$ is drifting away from stupidity or simply learns. W8 seams to be a challange. Good luck Paul
i agree.. i downloaded the Consumer Preview and just could not stand Windows 8 set up.. they've taken the Start Menu away, and have hidden most useful features.. it's really designed for mobile applications.. for Desktop use.. it's poor ... if RTM remains the same.. im going to skip Win8 like Vista ... Win7 is working great for me..
I might not have the time to put in all of the work that would be required to activate both UEFI and legacy systems. And as others have said, I'm not a fan of Metro on my desktop so I don't really care that much about Windows 8, where as I think Windows 7 is rather beautiful. I just don't like the flat look of Windows 8, how it holds your information, how it can be shared and how "connected" your system becomes to the internet. You lose some privacy just by using it and that's just one of the many reasons why I'm going to stick with Windows 7 as my main OS for some time.
Unlimited Rearm sounds a Great Solution ! BTW, Do we have any solution for Rearm in Windows 8 yet ???
