I still get random results with every AIDA64 test, sometimes 500 GB read / write other times not even 100 GB
I can confirm that on the dev 22483 also. I can manage to bork out and have piss poor results. Damn, this thing is getting deep...
Also here, with 22483.1011 dev build L3 cache is not properly fixed. Latency is of the same order of Windows 10 but Read/Write/Copy performance are random and always worse than Windows 10 values. My CPU is a Ryzen 9 5950x.
I'm on a 3900x and I thought it's l3 cache issue was fixed by this patch and new AMD driver, but when I test again, the bandwidth numbers are all over the place, ranging from 120GB/s to 1150GB/s. Every time I click, I get a random number. The latency seems to stay about the same, which seems to be what they actually fixed. I wonder if the random bandwidth numbers are caused by power saving?
Any link for upvoting feedback at the hub? I did create a new, but would be good to create a swarm of it.
try exit all your aplication include browser. only aida64 and open task manager and see if you cpu usagge is 1% and try benchmark with aida 64
What we are saying is that you shouldn't have to do that with Windows 11 since you don't have to with Windows 10. If you have to close all applications with Windows 11 to get a score the same as with applications running with Windows 10, that's not a fair test.
the patch makes it better but numbers are alot lower then win10 this problem is not fix with amd cpus.
It's a lot more varied, but the peaks are just as high as before. I saw similar dips between runs (but not as low) in Windows 10 too before upgrading.
All I can say is if you want the same performance as Windows 10 you better stay with Windows 10 at least for the next couple of patches. I'm pretty sure this will be fixing the next month. My numbers are quite different from Windows 10 to Windows 11 during the screenshot couple post up.
they are supposed to improve over time to get more CPU and GPU performance, not the other way around. Unfortunately there is a regression, based on the fact that Windows 11 is a boosted Windows 10, they should not have these problems. From Windows 7 to 8, or from 8 to 10 I believe you, but from 10 to 11 no.
The problem is more on the 5000 cpus your number are low to . Win 11 show have the same number has win10 to say it is fixed. I am just waiting for a full fix win11 Need some more work.
Did all of you install the latest amd chipset driver 3.10.08.506? Have you tried rolling back to the previous drivers and see if it helps?
