I think cppc2 update is just ryzen power profile.

Rather have cache fix early for testing

After all that's what's insider is for

All we now is the new driver from amd to fix the preferred core situation.

While it does fluctuate, for me it's still far better and never gets anywhere near as bad as it was. My ryzen is a 6 core and I've heard the problem is worse with 8 cores and above.

yeah intel doesn't have this problem as it is still like your great great great grandfathers buick/parisienne/oldsmobile until they start innovating again like amd/aapl and smartphone chips :p

The reason intel doesn't have this problem is because they've effectively been selling the same cpu for 10 years so microsoft never had to change anything. Ryzen came out 4 years ago and microsoft still hasn't made the necessary changes to compensate for it. But supposedly the fixes will be out next week, so we'll see.

I wonder why? Heavy duty fees like union dues to belong to MS club like the big oem's and Intel pay for exclusive rights and volume sales and input into MS design and code and drivers unlike outsider amd with bullying/lobbying by intel :)

Is this fixed yet? I don't have Windows 11 to test myself, but I've heard that AMD predicted Microsoft would release an update on the 19th (yesterday). I'm hearing mixed results as to if the update was released or if it actually fixed either issue (throughput and latency)
