I manually installed KB5006746 (the alleged fix) on Windows 11 and it definitely fixed the L3 latency issue. It helped the L3 throughput issue but it's still not up to levels seen in Windows 10 so they may have more work to do on it. They didn't release the fix on the 19th and right now nobody seems to know when they will but I'm going to make a wild guess and say on patch Tuesday in November.

That's for the CPPC Preferred Cores fix, not L3 fix.

I don't think it's fully fixed. The bandwidth numbers are all over the place, but the latency seems back to what it should be...

I know that the 5900x is half what I get on win10 even with the new beta patch.

What is half? The latency? Read, write and/or copy speed? All of them? Just one of them?

Win10 numbers are high conpair to win11. waiting to see if a new update after 282 fixing it. It seems like the 5000 series CPUs are having a bigger problem than a 3000.

I think chipset drivers fixed speed fluctuating. I repeatly clicked on cach speed and doesn't drop like it was before

Any one got a 5900-5800 and run the new test to see if the driver's fix it .

I think that the 5000 is not that high.
