LOL @ Anyone getting mad over nothing being released when they want it released. Some of you act like immature little kids and I hope to God you immature ones aren't actually part of the insider group. You want everything handed to you. Act like the world is going to end if you can't have it your way. If I were Gabe Aul, I'd end the insider program completely because of all the idiots. The feedback app is filled with garbage from immature idiots complaining about stuff like wanting Aero back. FFS these people shouldn't be allowed to use computers if that's all that matters to them. Screw a functioning OS. Make it pretty and shiny is all those nutjobs want. Don't even get me started on the people that love everything about Windows 10, but the icons alone keep them from using it so they'll stick with 7 or 8. Pathetic jokes
I agree, there were dozens more releases(leaks) before there ever was an insiders program, from the WinMe days right through Windows 8 there were new builds every other day..dump this s**t!
10135 was a pretty great build so why aren't builds of that quality being released? I think they are being way too cautious is the problem. Seems counterproductive to have a huge base of testers who can provide immediate feedback on releases and instead they are going back to their old ways of ringfencing their builds to a very small group then out the other end comes a mess because they got no feedback.
Sorry for the noob question. I currently have 10130. Is it possible to update to 10135 using the iso without losing my programs? Just like if it was using Windows Update? I tried to run setup.exe, but the option to keep my programs is greyed.
Took an update from the Beta Store "Playready Blue" Looks like MS is now locking down 4k vids or who knows what they're doing. There is also an update for "Music" but it won't install for me.
were you booting on the iso ? if so, install it over the active W10 partition, it will create a "windows old" as always before, you will retrieve all files excepted your 3rd party progs which are existing on it.
i'm running 10074 right now and for some reason it wont start anymore i'm hoping an upgrade will fix it i saw that there is a key to upgrade 10135 pro to enterprise the problem right now is that i'm running 10074 enterprise and i won't be able to upgrade with an 10135 pro iso, right? are there 10135 enterprise isos or esd? or can you convert a pro iso to enterprise iso? or can i just change some reg key on 10074 enterprise so it'll look like pro and allow an upgrade? thanks
Is the stuck taskbar still a issue in 10135? Double clicking cortina gets around this in 10134 but its a anoying...lol
Yes at least for me. I thought it had to do with my video card "AMD" but I guess it is a common problem, I just leave it visable.
Is disabling the lock screen broken in this build? I have Do Not Display The Lock Screen enabled using gpedit.msc but lock screen still displays at bootup. The equivalent registry entry confirms that this setting has been enabled so lock screen shouldn't show... but it does!
I have never tried to disable the lockscreen so I can't say but I find the lock screen annoying so what I usually do is enable auto login for both boot and lock screen so when I log out to do a fast reboot so to say it logs back in automatically.
I use a differnt method to bypass the lock screen and that doesn't work either...I am guessing that going forward you won't be able to bypass it at all.
I just got hit with the 15.20 drivers, seems to work but I am now reinstalling win 8.1 and getting ready for the upgrade or at least until a new leak comes out lol.
