[LEAK] Windows 10 Build 9901

Very nice could you tell me which trick this is ?

 

use regedit and change the following:
HKLM\Software\Microsot\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
EditionID "Enterprise" changed to "Professional"
ProductName "Windows Technical Preview for Enterprise" changed to "Windows Technical Preview"

 

I tryed instaling it on vmware 10 and it crashes at the very begin of the iso boot with a VMware error message about the virtual CPU entering a irrecoverable state.

Does any one managed to install it on vmware? if so which version, is vmware 11 worth a shot?

Works for me with build 9888 but if i want to do upgrade with build 9901 setup crashes

 

Setup closed without any message

 

I don't know why you experience the crash.
I just finish upgrade from 9879 enterprise to 9901 pro without problem.
then upgraded 9901 pro to enterprise as described before in this thread.

 

Is there a way to remove the rest of the watermarks…. I can remove build number etc but stuck with the Confidentiality

Is anyone else having trouble connecting to the Beta Store? I get a TransportException_Timeout every time I try... (Did MS bring the servers down?)

 

I have left my laptop on my desk when it was downloading iso along night.

So, LOL! It has stuck at %99,99 when I was sleeping and IDM is giving error even if I try to continue. I'm downloading it again

Hi! Please help! I installed 9901, bet the search, cortana and some new app wont work. I tried reinstall the OS but nothing. If i click on search button or in the search box nothing happen. I cant type into box. Maybe my location is the problem? (Hungary)

Anyone meet this issue?

Downloading....hop it could be upgrading from 9888 whitout problems!

 

Cortana only works within the United States or by changing region to United States at its current testing state

 

GDI bug is still there in both Pro and Enterprise.

Once GDI objects for Explorer.exe hits 10,000, the process will be restarted automatically and any Windows you had open will be closed.

 

Now Windows RT is integrate ?

 

What causes it to happen in this build? I haven't gotten a repro of the GDI bug on my laptop yet.

 

Safe to upgrade from build 9888 ?

 

GDI hasn't reared it's ugly head here yet either. Seems to be behaving much better so far.

My only issue is that I get a BSOD on every other startup. I haven't been able to figure out the cause yet.

 

Check all relevant log files!
