O.K., thanks for clarifying - but I don't see marker utilities for the X201 or X220 in this linked post. Most of the links are 10 years old and 404'd, and the closest I see is a SLIC mod for the X230.
Alright then, will proceed with activation. I have another X220 which will eventually require activation, though not for a quite a while. Will get back to you again if I need your help - thanks for everything.
it is a very simple process - install Lenovo certificate and correct OEM: SLP key Create a file results19.rar for that another X220 laptop and upload it
