How fast do you want it? Mega is fast, the cdn downloader is fast, the magnet is fast and the original host is fast too, no need for another off board copy i guess.
You mean this thing? It's just as "official" as me uploading it to my google drive and giving you a link. The actual official stuff is here:
And @simplix self mentioned this MDL thread is the official english support thread in the past. I see the Simplix thread on oszone is deleted?
After the start of russia's full-scale attack on Ukraine, I limited support on the territory of the aggressor countries - russia and belarus and refused to provide support to the occupiers. Therefore, after some time, the topic on oszone was closed, and eventually deleted, not at my request. And although there was a lot of useful information there, oszone is still a russian forum, and the russians on their popular resources delete messages that tell the truth about the war, and try to present their aggressive attack as the norm. I observe this behavior on many well-known russian resources, for example, habr or pikabu - messages are quietly deleted and users are blocked, even if they look active. However, I made my blog in advance and answer all questions there, regardless of language, so you are welcome. And I want to thank you again for supporting our fight for freedom.
I do support Ukraine, 100%. And I also wish to thank "simplix" for the work he does in creating and updating this wonderful tool.
Many thanks to @Enthousiast and others for creating and maintaining this amazing tool for integrating the SiMPLiX UpdatePack! I was able to use it successfully, and have two follow up questions: I integrated the latest SiMPLiX UpdatePack version 23.9.15 into my Windows 7 installation ISO, but after installing the system, Windows Update still shows me some really old updates as shown in the attached screenshot. Is there a reason why the UpdatePack didn't include these updates? Does it matter whether I install these updates or not? Is there a way to create N or KN versions of the Windows 7 ISO using this AiO tool? If so, how? Thanks!
1. I know almost all KB numbers of that list, they are well-known Telemetry updates. Guess why they aren't included. 2. No. You would need N or KN media to begin with. You never could and never can switch between normal, N, KN and E SKUs, not even today.
I see, thank you for the explanation @Carlos!! Understood. I shall hide those updates so they don't get accidentally installed! Got it. So if I want this tool to produce an N (or KN, E, etc.) ISO, I need to feed it an N ISO to begin with. Looks like some are available from this thread, which is good to know.
It lacks all kinds of stuff that you will miss at some point, even the MFP won't bring all up to the level of normal editions. They are crippled by design enforced by the korean and EU law, never once sold any of those in europe.
I had always thought that the MFP would basically make the N edition the same as non-N. TIL that that's not the case! Thank you for explaining, very good to know.
Nope, N + MFP still lacks some codecs and files. Even if the MFP could bring it en-par with the non-N SKUs, the N would be exactly as pointless as they are. They only exist for legal reasons, not for practical ones. The strange thing about E Editions/SKUs is, that, while not having even been released back then (instead, we got the EU Ballot screen), they are still targeted by every update, to this day. Never heard of Windows 7 KN Editions, I think that nonsense was dropped after XP. KN Editions lacked the Media Player and the Messenger which were bundled at that time.
AFAIK, K and KN editions continued to exist up to Windows 10 1511 they are the same as regular and N editions, plus software Web sites links (on desktop i presume) to download third-party media player and instant messaging software
No not at all, it can be used anywhere i remember testing ko-kr LP (for MUI script) and it added those links
