I remember a thread that also included an option to configure services that would be enabled/disabled by default and some setting for all control panel, was that one of your threads? I'm asking because those seem to not be present in the ISO creation options and I always change the defaults as of the last image I made of Win7 for my current system which was done with NTLite. I have built a new ISO with your tool but won't be able to test it until the new hardware is ready so I won't know what services and whatnot are done by your script.
I hardly doubt i made a thread about disabling services, i always leave most, if not all, default. The MRP project has some of those settings, maybe you meant those posts?
I'm not sure. I guess I go look around more, thanks for the potential search tip either way. I definitely disable some and make sure all control panel is active (winXP ver) vs. the stripped down one by default. Doing it from memory with years between installs does not work very well.
I had some popup errors while running "W7_x64_Single_Index_Only_3.0_Modern.cmd". It seems to have successfully created the iso, but I'm left wondering what went on here. If someone more knowledgeable about this would take a look and tell me what they think, I would appreciate it. Further information: Running on Windows 11, 24H2, 26100.1150
Using crappy copies of this script i guess: Code: Extracting archive: SOURCE_ISOs\7_x64\moved.to.Win7Platinum.txt
i get this error message everytime i try to make iso failed to Unmount the image, the error code: 5 i ran as admin already Windows 10 LTSC
An update on the services configuration: I did some searching and came up empty. So I figured why not try loading these modified ISO files into NTLite. It worked. All that's left is testing it with my actual hardware, whenever that gets done.
Added the missing ISO SHA1 checksum at post 3 of this thread: Code: 36ae90defbad9d9539e649b193ae573b77a71c83 *en_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_677332.iso
Unmounting any image can easily fail if you have any open Explorer windows (because Explorer registers the mounted image in its sidebar and thus locks the handle). I always close all Explorer windows and have no problems since.
