Yeah, but on 7 the telemetry is not that much of a problem. Best would be to use the monthly released updatepack with the latest WA addons and stop using WU entirely.
A great 2022 to everyone here! Now, since my copy of Win7 is fully patched all the way until December 2021... it is perfectly fine and safe to use as a daily driver, right?
Fine little tool Brings few questions tho Is it possible to enable upgrade/repair on modern option? Is it possible to keep all editions on legacy option? Does it keep all languages available in the Boot/Install.wim? See no reason why it should delete it but it only shows "Professional/Ultimate/Enterprise x64 zh-tw" in the process: "echo Creating Professional %warch% %StarterLang%..." and "adding dart" etc but it has (English being source language, Swedish, Chinese Taiwan)
Nope. You can edit the script to your needs. Nothing from boot.wim is deleted, but multilingual isos are not supported.
I noticed. It finished creating an ISO but I cant find it anywhere, script says it saves in TEMP? but that folder doesnt exist
Type %temp% in the search or run box, then press the Enter key. A window will appear which contains various temp files. See if your created ISO is there.
Nope First legacy attempt was made on my gaming pc and the iso was in root folder of the project Second attempt was done on my server and the iso wasnt there
The ISO should be created in the project folder, if it's not present then the progress should have shown you an error, can you post the progress here in code tags?
Updated the WA addon files by @abbodi1406: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-install-wim-esd-creation.79421/#post-1516362
Select the updates and check the date, if it's old and ancient, the updates are either superseded/replaced or contain telemetry, best to hide and forget them.
Hello and this is my first time messing with this so bear with me. If I get this file to use on my Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit ISO do I need some drivers files for my rig besides the ones provided? also the source Windows 10 can be it latest Windows 10 Pro, Home or must be LTSC? For example, if I want to use UEFI+NVME+modern CPU do I need to modify something for my machine? Can the process be done offline?
