we do not provide homebrews iso (not allowed here). I think you want an up to date vl version (with all the last updates) and we don't do this here. You can download the link I pointed you and add the available updates with WHDownloader to integrate them in your installation. That is what I do and nobody will provide an uptodate iso here. So do it by yourself or try to find one on the net. Have a nice day.
Ah, I understand now, so MS doesn't provide updated builds via VLSC? I mean I have the ISO listed in the thread but updating it all the time on every PC can be a pain.
that is the way we do here. you dont have to update every PC as WHDownloader download and convert the updates in msp file. Once done copy the msp files to updates folder of your office iso.That's done.
Hello, I've been using OfficeProPlus2016 64bit with MTK2.6.2 for a few years now with no issues other than the occasional need to whitelist the dll on whichever machine is giving me activation issues. Today I am working on a laptop with fresh install of Win10-64bit. I have uninstalled the office 365, ran the office removal tool, ran ccleaner, and rebooted but for some reason it won't even install. Just says a problem was encountered. My first guess is that some update from Neversoft has blocked install of this particular version (a stretch but...). I downloaded an alternate package via windows-iso-downloader and it bombed on install as well. This time I got Error Code 30088-11. Oddly that comes up as a 365 error. Windows version 1803 (OS Build 17134.590) My next step is to roll back any updates that were installed and try again. Before I do that, maybe someone here has a suggestion? Thanks in advance!
What is the exact iso filename and sha-1 of the used VL iso? Most KMS solutions (including MTK) can't activate a retail install of office 2016, so use ret>vl first, to convert the Retail IMG install you downloaded, to VL and next use KMS_VL_ALL v29* to activate. * read the readme, it has simple installation instructions.
Thanks for the response! I used SW_DVD5_Office_Professional_plus_2016_64Bit_English_MLF_X20-42432.ISO that I downloaded from here long ago. I actually just downloaded it again in case my existing ISO became corrupt or something. Same deal. Progress bar gets to the end, then starts rolling back to about 75% then bombs out. I never even get to finish the install to try activating it. I've never had to convert anything before, I just mount the ISO, run setup.exe, and ez-activate afterwards.
The IMG you downloaded with the heidoc iso downloader is retail, no KMS solution can activate a retail 2016 office install, if it's pro or pro plus, it can be converted to a VL install, next the KMS tool can activate it. For when you want to completely remove the current office install try running office scrubber and next re-install office.
I will try the scrubber. Just to be clear, I am not having an activation issue. I am having an install issue. The same ISO I have been using for years to install Office 2016 Pro is not working on this fresh Win10 install. I never get the point I can try activation.
