I think you need to patch default user, the current user obviously doesn't exist until you create one during OOBE

Not that I'm a guru of the matter, but you need to mount as hive ntuser.dat (the one inside default user folder), then the path is relative to the mount point you decided. Default user is a template used when a new user is created, so is not mounted normally.

warning here don't use msmg toolkit v13.1 with windows 11 22H2 build 22621.1413 which is the latest build aka moment 2 update it will cause this problem shown here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...hannel-ni_release.85327/page-226#post-1782361 you have to use msmg toolkit v13.3 to avoid this problem i had to do a lot of installations and reinstallations to figure this out
