I do not want to be misunderstood and I apologize for this, in fact the test was done privately by my colleague who enrolled in the insider program.
You either 1) wait for MSMG to support 19H1 which will likely be after 19H1 general release, or 2) write your own code for Windows component removal which is easy enough with PowerShell, and DISM.
Could someone tell me what is wrong. I can mount the image souccessfully from [1] Source, but after that [4] Remove -> [1] Remove Windows Components -> it just goes straight to this in one second and doesn't display any menus below: ####Starting Removing Windows Components###### Image : Install.wim Image Index : 1 Image Architecture : x64 Image Version : 10.0.17134.1.1 Image Edition : Professional Image Default Language : en-US ------------------------------------------------- ####Removing Windows Components############ ------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------- ####Finished Removing Windows Components##### I'm using the latest ToolKit_v9.0. I tried with different W10 source medias and on two different machines, still the same. I've never had problems with this toolkit before..? [2] Remove Default Metro Apps Using Apps List and [3] Remove Windows Components Using Package List behave just the same. I guess some variables don't fill up correctly in the script..? How can I debug this, the script is very long and complex. Edit: Using an old version 8.3 seems to work. Whatever changes broke it in version 9.0, also 8.9 didn't work either.
So what are known problems with MSMG Toolkit and 1809 LTSX or Pro? I know people are waiting on updated version of MSMG Toolkit, but why? What critical bugs remain?
This should help you (once again, thanks to Abbodi): https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/disable-remove-telemetry-and-tracking-service.68131/
Did you read the link carefully? In particular, point "Remove related Windows 10 upgrade and telemetry updates" You have to uninstall some KBs from mounted image https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...of-updating-to-windows-10.63145/#post-1101967 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...of-updating-to-windows-10.63145/#post-1101997 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...dows-10-related-updates-from-windows-7.64561/ In win7/8 telemetry was added by updates, once you deleted the related KBs be carefull not to install the Monthly Quality Rollup but Security Only Quality Updates (read MonthlyQualityRollup-Notice.txt in WHDownloader)
I think you did not understand me correctly, i asked about how to remove CEIP service, CEIP first time was integrated in vindows vista, than it was added in windows 7 and 8. I am integrated only security updates from wsus offline with option security only. After integration this updates i want to remove CEIP, but there is no option to remove it.
In upgrade wim edition,I see the LTSC 2019 determine build 17133,but actually the LTSC 2019's build is 17763,I think you should change it to 17763,instead of 17133.The 17133 is Redstone 4's build. This problem found in localization.
Changelog.txt - Temporarily Removed the Feature "Remove Windows Component" for Windows 7 - Windows 10 Redstone 4 Source OS.
