Didn't help at a point like the Readme. I first did: 1. extract ISO (1 > 3) 2. сhose Windows Pro and did not connect boot images or recovery images 3. deleted everything using RemoveAppsList.txt (4 > 2) Spoiler: RemovePkgsList.txt GameExplorer MapControl OneDrive PeopleExperienceHost RetailDemoContent SecureAssessmentBrowser SkypeORTC WindowsMixedReality XboxGameCallableUI 3DViewer AdvertisingXaml Alarms BingWeather Camera CommunicationsApps Cortana DesktopAppInstaller FeedbackHub GetHelp Getstarted HEIFImageExtension Maps MixedRealityPortal OfficeHub OfficeOneNote Paint3D People Photos ScreenSketch SkypeApp SolitaireCollection SoundRecorder StickyNotes VP9VideoExtensions WalletService WebMediaExtensions WebpImageExtensions XboxApp XboxIdentityProvider YourPhone ZuneMusic ZuneVideo 4. applied changes to the image (6 > 2 > Y) 5. сopied the Autounattend.xml file to. \ Toolkit_v10.2 \ DVD \ 6. saved the DVD image to ISO On the virtual machine "VMWare Player" launched Windows 10 with automatic installation using Autounattend.xml After installing Windows 10, Autounattend.xml created 2 profiles - Test1 and Test2. Then 2 users logged in and both logged out. Then I deleted the Test2 profile in the user profiles settings. Then I logged into the Test2 system again, the Windows Start button does not work. ==================================================== Then I did it again in ToolKit 10.2: 1. extract ISO (1 > 3) 2. сhose Windows Pro and did not connect boot images or recovery images 3. deleted everything using RemoveAppsList.txt (Besides Cortana)(4 > 2) Spoiler: RemovePkgsList.txt GameExplorer MapControl OneDrive PeopleExperienceHost RetailDemoContent SecureAssessmentBrowser SkypeORTC WindowsMixedReality XboxGameCallableUI 3DViewer AdvertisingXaml Alarms BingWeather Camera CommunicationsApps DesktopAppInstaller FeedbackHub GetHelp Getstarted HEIFImageExtension Maps MixedRealityPortal OfficeHub OfficeOneNote Paint3D People Photos ScreenSketch SkypeApp SolitaireCollection SoundRecorder StickyNotes VP9VideoExtensions WalletService WebMediaExtensions WebpImageExtensions XboxApp XboxIdentityProvider YourPhone ZuneMusic ZuneVideo 4. applied changes to the image (6 > 2 > Y) 5. сopied the Autounattend.xml file to. \ Toolkit_v10.2 \ DVD \ 6. saved the DVD image to ISO Tested in VMWare Player Windows 10 using Autounattend.xml. here everything works fine the Start button. The reason is Cortana. How do I fix it to work fine without Cortana? and earlier Windows 10 version 1709-1909 did not encounter problems
hi there, could someone post the name that is required to remove calling shell app? to be placed in packages.txt? thanks Majid
what is the best toolkit version to use on windows 10 build 1709? 10.2 doesn't have a package list for component removal for this build thanks
Thanks for the Wonderfull program. My suggestion for new feature packs 1. 7Zip installer 2.Firefox Installer Thanks again
Windows updates can not install new CU update after removing components by using pkgslist method. I'm using toolkit 10.2, and windows 10 20H1 .388 version. Sfc /scanow shows no errors. darn it, you have content delivery manager in that list, you don't want that, required for windows setup. please only use one way of removeing things, when it askes you what way you want to remove apps use the toolkit way. not the dism one. the last list you psted with the content dilivery manager is the list used for the toolkit removal the first way was the list used for dism. good luck!
Thanks a lot man Really appreciate the immediate help xD I have a couple more doubts tho. One, on the readme for the 2004 version on the integration part there's the option to integrate the patch for uxtheme but then on the folders to add the actual packs there's nothing where should i add it and also there's not even in the MEGA directory anything for the UX theme. The other thing is, the enable/disable features list, those things aren't directly removable from the toolkit right ? Would you mind giving me some advice on which ones should i disable and which enable ? Thanks again.
you can see the list of items you can disable and enable in the features templates folder, I would advise you enable NetFx3 paste that in your file called EnableFeaturesList.txt in /bin/lists/ if you don't use windows media player you can also disable that that is your choise. as for your first question I don't know anything about theames, i'm blind so maybe someone with sited expertise may be able to assist you with your first question? here is my app list that i use with the toolkit helper methord the name of the file is called.
