I have had feedback that when using MRP 151 that the OS install may 'hang' in some certain situations i think this is language related and so if anyone does have that issue or when selecting some apps for removal that MRP may crash and not complete fully or it does not remove any single apps -- see here.

It took a while to work out what the issue was caused by.... Thanks to @kajoe1 for all the help with testing and helping me pinpoint the glitch.

It has also been fixed for MRP 152 which i am working on at this moment :p

MRP151.1 has been uploaded, 2nd post download link, password and hashes have been updated.

As a precaution i have uploaded MRP 151.1 Baseline Refresh so that if you have an issue as listed in the summary below you can download the updated version to address them.

    Baseline Refresh
    ================

    Changes from MRP151.0:

    1. Updated Apps removal section to prevent an error on some apps that are selected to be removed. As m$ have integrated some apps into others not all selected ones may be removed.
    2. Fixed a rare but possible problem when no Apps are selected for removal in that MRP could cause a OS installation 'hang' on some Languages.
    3. Added more lines of runtime date to the Early Log - this will help when diagnosing other issues.
    4. Few other little code tweaks to speed up some sections and added more error checking.

Will look into the app changes, where possible, for those Apps that are now combined with others, to see how to remove them in the next MRP release.

I don't particularly like to pull a release and luckily it is rare now.

But in this instance i thought it be best to upload a fixed version for those that had the strange issues or non completion of the project during installation.

As i may not always be online and instead of messaging me and waiting for the link i have just released it as a baseline refresh. No new bits are added , just the fixes required.

Just noticed in fixing the Apps removal routine(s) in MRP151.1 i have added the extra log data into the 'Early log' and forgot to add the info into the main project log.

It is not a showstopper and you will see that the selected Apps options had been successful as they will be missing from the Start Menu/OS - it is only the main log entries not showing, you can check the Early log for extended details.

Have now just fixed that little glitch for MRP 152.

its just one of those days i guess :D

The latest OEM's.7z is in the MRP archive with most up to date images. Most are still same as before, Asus had a new wallpaper and a couple of new brands added.

    MRP v152 is progressing :)

Some code improvements, including the project log showing apps removed information again, which was missing from v151.1

The RunOnce Synchronous option is working too.

Im looking through the 151.1 scripts but so far nothing stands out... i am cross checking line by line with v150 as i had a copy/paste error before which made 151 to 151.1

Well i checked through and all seem identical :g: i checked the code between the last log entry and to the next log entry which should of been shown which was not.

A debug1.log may help as that has extra lines in that between those missing areas from the main project log.

Other than that an external script may of done a reboot or log out/in cycle which cause MRP to clean up automatically before it had time to complete.

As i noticed in the main log at top section:

    SetupComplete and/or FirstLogOn scripts detected.

So that may of cleaned up the setup folder which would of wiped the MRP protected folder too?? Only a guess.

Have examined all logs provided and checked code of 151.1 even against 149 and 150 in the code block section and nothing is out of place , no missing ) etc :g:

Only thing is that either a reboot or log out/in cycle was performed which caused MRP to auto clean itself up, or an external script setupcomplete etc which wiped the setup folder and scripts folders..

Wiping the actual Setup folder can have adverse affects on the OS because the kernel looks for a specific folder and file within the Setup folder, State folder and State.ini file within that folder.

I think one of my programs installed from SetupComplete is interfering with MRP
I have to find which one
