For that one above you do not have a slic in your bios thus no win 7 oem activation possible. Two choices...mod the bios to add slic 2.1 or use windows loader to activate (in your case it would install the actual loader). Question: You have no slic and it is not activated either with a loader so why does it extract a cert? hmmmm??? Did you use a loader in the past and remove it? Are you trying to use a oem restore disk with the project included? If so then that might be why. Just guessing right now.
I like it better also...gives more options also on the logon screen. Maybe I will add it later on....still testing that dang logon/welcome screen in win 10....had a typo in script thus last test failed. Fixed and testing again. lol The script will also backup original before replacing so a new folder is created in the oem screen images folder in %windir%\
Yes thats the one I had the loader on, I just uninstalled the loader, I guess I have to reinstall, get the details, post them, get the OEM then reinstall again.
Ok, I remember now. You will have to use windows loader by daz or mod your bios in order to activate that machine. MDL probably already has a bios mod made for it but you will have to search for it. Or just use windows loader by including it in a setupcomplete.cmd (instructions are included in the windows loader so read carefully). Then add the setupcomplete.cmd, windows loader.exe and the included ini from windows loader to the scripts folder with the oobe.cmd file. Then during the setupcomplete phase of install it will then install the loader auto. in background. When install is complete it will be branded and activated. The choice is yours.
Ok, found out some info on the logon screen/welcome screen. You can only change color....its not a actual image. Cant do anything about that so I decided to add the reg value in the script and the layout changed for the logon screen to more advanced logon for windows 10 only. Will be adding this in the near future for the public.
When I looked into modding the logon / welcome screen I found that only the color can be changed which is stupid. Sadly you can't change it into an image or really mod it that much.
That thing didn't come oem activated don't look like at all. You have No slic table and No msdm table therefore no oem activation possible unless you mod the bios or use windows loader along with this project. Those are your only options.
It is strange, I guess its possible it had a normal key but it makes no sense to not have it bios, Hmm I think I updated bios after I got it, could that of wiped the table?
I don't know, maybe wrong bios flash...most manufactures don't change the slic or msdm tables during bios flash. Maybe phone activation....did you get it used? Too many variables to worry about...it is what it is now. You only have two options.
First post updated. Spoiler Change log 04-14-2015: -Enabled advanced logon screen to windows 10 only (main project updated only).
Ya man I wanted to put a themed wallpaper on that freaking screen. However it just didn't go anywhere when I did the reg edit. Usually only the oem has that kind activation tbh. On another note I'm going to test out an mdl friendly copy of the Powershell pack. I wanna get this into a module cause I'm curious on how this will look in ps. I wonder I could look into modding windows to make it accept a wallpaper
I would think a file would have to be modified for it to accept a image....by default only color can be adjusted without modification of a file (more then likely a dll). Note: I went ahead and updated a fresh link for the oem images to be used with Alphawaves System Brand Changer.
