have you tried rearm wizard? it basically resets the trial timer infinitely, and doesn’t modify any system files, unlike removewat. probably last resort if you can’t activate any ways. and which windows edition are you using? all windows N versions (e.g. Windows 7 ultimate N) except for Professional N and Enterprise N (kms activatable) neither has OEM:SLP activation nor KMS activation. See here only professional and enterprise (both versions) support kms activation without frankenbuilding system. i’m not sure if i should redirect you to daz loader’s thread but post a mgadiag report. problems maybe slic table is messed up internally or you have unsupported edition TL DR: don’t use removewat, because it just trashes activation files making real activation methods useless, and if you have it installed but want to actually activate, download watfix and run it or you might just have never runned removewat in the first place this is why no one gives copies of this hacktivator
Then something is seriously messed up with that laptop. When you find it, start over with a fresh install and use a genuine iso issued by Microsoft (never tampered with)
It's Windows 7 Professional, and it looks to be doing fine "activated" with RemoveWAT. I'm not sure what a mgadiag report is. Windows Loader (multiple versions) caused my system to reboot to a bunch of text, and after waiting and pressing a key it gave me instructions to boot back into Windows (I forgot what the command was). KMS_VL_ALL gave me an incapable OEM BIOS error. I use an ISO I made based off of the MSDN version of 7. It has all the updates and some tweaks already applied. Not going back to stock 7.
Some machines, not sold with Windows 7 preinstalled, were shipped from the factory with an invalid slic table in the bios. This, unfortunately, prevents kms activation, and it sounds like this may be what is happening to you. However, an mgadiag report would show if this is the problem,. Windows Loader should have been able to work around it, possibly with some options tweaked. A bios update might also help. Sounds good, unless one of those added tweaks was an evil activator.
It's a T430 with 1vyrain, it's a model that shipped with 7. I specifically got a 7 model because I prefer the 7 logo on the keyboard. However the key is for home premium and I like fooling around in gpedit, so not really an option. When I next use it, I'll see if I can generate a mgadiag report, but seeing how it's "activated" I don't think I'll need to do much.
you’re right idk if daz loader’s options can change anything since op got boot problems idk about bios update, what about bios mod? not even an activator, it’s a hacktivator lol idk if 1vyrain did anything to the slic table. idk what to say for the next 2 sentences. also just because it says “activated” doesn’t mean it’s truly activated, especially for hacktivators such as removewat (it just denies access to all activation files and removes activation status from control panel) and chew-wga/chew7/hal7600. (patches system files to make windows look “activated”) should windows request activation or give errors then there’s no support for that since hacktivators are unsupported. rearm wizard like i mentioned earlier lets you run windows 7 in trial mode forever and doesn’t wreck system files. trial mode is similar to genuine mode, aside from some reminders (unless rearm wizard disables them?) that is, unless you want your system to be genuine. useless comparison look genuine ≠ be genuine = if the system has been frankenbuilt/hacktivated, or if blacklisted keys were used, fail WAT some factors may lead to “not genuine” such as sfc fixing files from a frankenbuild. real activation (not hacktivator but daz loader, kms, or misc product key) + look genuine + pass WAT = be genuine trial mode or real activation = pass WAT corrupted activation files/frankenbuild = fail WAT fail WAT = not genuine
In that case, the BIOS should already have a valid SLIC 2.1 table. You just need the Lenovo certificate and the edition-specific OEM:SLP key to be "properly" activated. As suggested by @CaptainKirk1966 and @Chuterix, try to solve the problem in a meaningful way; don't unnecessarily complicate and bypass it.
yeah, I was thinking the same thing about 1vyrain. Did it screw up the slic table? The T430 should surely have left the factory with a valid slic table in bios, whereupon you could install any compatible edition of Win 7 with just the certificate and appropriate oem:slp key. All done with slmgr commands, no loader or other activator required.
that is correct. i have a lenovo thinkpad t430 that came with windows 7 professional and has a slic which had the original system activated (inside the laptop, a 100% legit valid coa key that works online which cannot be shared; for 7 pro only) and can even activate vista (tested ultimate) with daz loader without the bootloader (only certificate & serial installed, no reboot and there's genuine off the bat) as for 1vyrain, if it did trash slic tables then how can the op fix it? reflash? i'm noob at bios modding because i don't see why it's worth putting slic into systems that were made for 10/11 and since using 7 was temporary
that's what i thought, and now i begin to have same question about reflashing. however in this thread, we know that 1. op's laptop has trashed/invalid/partial slic. 2. op ran removewat so now he needs watfix (and repair install if still not genuine, even after using wat validation) but additional details are very helpful so... once again. just because it says "activated" doesn't mean you're actually activated. removewat doesn't even give signs you're activated* unlike chew, but chew is also trash hacktivator and is not allowed. *make windows say it's activated. making it say it's activated doesn't equal to being actually activated, as in my useless formula aforementioned.

Just as I thought. Broken SLIC table and RemoveWAT. KMS client key detected so it was used but failed due to the invalid SLIC. Why is it that KMS activation on 7 requires OEM activation is possible? (yes, but no slic table or straight up yes)
It does seem strange. Volume/kms licensing is meant to be an upgrade to a previous oem license. An invalid slic is taken to indicate no prior legitimate license. No slic at all, or valid slic will work okay.
So I've finally gotten around to doing that. I decided to skip MGADIAG and go for activation (Windows Loader), and saw the same screen where I had to boot from a Windows install disk and type the command, but it appears that I'm activated now.
