For the current official release there are just 3 updates, about 1GB in total, how is this bigger then the windows itself? About the update and reboot problem, as you say THEY (the church) didn't setup the schedule to prevent that.
We're getting way off topic, but does this work in the Home version? Because last time I checked it doesn't. That's why I wrote the WUMT wrapper script. I don't use home version but thought of a solution that would work for any version of 10. I would like nothing more than to kill my script and delete it from MDL because I keep getting crap about it from the top programmers on MDL. Maybe because it's too simple for the top programmers at MDL to want to acknowledge that it works, even though it does work and always will no matter how much MS removes working registry options. I've noticed a trend on MDL that if you create something that works you make yourself a target and then people won't use or promote your contribution no matter how good it works unless you are a "widely known elite programmer that everyone idolizes."
As far as I know it works in Home version, how to install in MDL Quick Links in Sig I Believe it works in Win 7, 8, 10
That's up to you, Maybe some tweaks or stopping services might be reason it does not work in home for you.
Since they've stripped so much functionality out of the registry in the home version, I have to assume that it's not for home unless explicitly stated to be so. I'm not trying to be argumentative, I just don't trust the stability of registry tweaks that MS arbitrarily changes with each update, especially the major gutting they did with RS1. If someone can tell me that they're absolutely sure that it works with home and that no future registry changes will be made to make it not work with home, then I'll stop using my script and tell everyone to use WUMT exclusively. I don't even trust that with RS2 WUMT will continue to work with notifications with pro. Do you see what I'm talking about?
Now that I think about it, I had it on another computer with OEM Win 10 Home and it worked, I'm sure as soon as RS2 comes out it will be upgraded, but who knows
