During installation you were asked if you wanted the tools or not. If you want to manually delete them, remove the add-on folders and edit settings.ini. There is an option in the general section that need tonbe set to 0 tonhide the icons.
Latest version worked flawlessly on a non uefi motherboard gateway fx gaming laptop default mbr windows 10 64 bit v1903. Tested in this order. installed with default autounattend. recovery creation on usb, ran recovery from computer, deleted hdd and ran recovery from usb, re ran recovery from computer. Is there anything elts you would like me to test on that computer, just reply with a list. will be trying on a asus maximus viii impact motherboard next for the uefi funtion with the first boot install script for motherboard software and drivers.
That's why I made the text/icons/executable setting in the INI file and not hardcodded them, so you can change them.
I input ESET Online Scanner and Cleanmgr Assistant (Clean up system drive after Upgrade or Update), is work perfectly
After syspreping I have a set of software for my Asus motherboard to install using your auto install script. Ran into a problem one of the programs required a reboot before an update patch can be installed. How can I get that update to auto install after computer reboots? Have been trying to find a reg add command to run once the patch installed but no luck getting it to work.
Once again Im working on a instruction video. Planning some stuff now I still have the reeeeeeeaaally old one left on YT.. Edit: Im not sure its related to your RecoveryTool or sysprep in general but after a first install/capture (which finished with an error) i cant open "Add or remove programs" menu, when I press it, it dissapears.. Edit 2: OK, I tried again and now it worked.... Regarding capture error I believe it said it coudnt find the file, wasnt very specifi but I cant find a Install.wim/swm Edit 3: I found a typo in Settingslini TextOption31Help = Software to recoved deleted files Edit 4: I have a Swedish translation of settings.ini. Just need to test it, also how do I change language?
hi there, i'm visually impared, would it be possible to have narrator launchable duering win_pe usage? i.e I press windows plus control plus enter and narrator will start speaking? it would make this accessible thanks for your help! Majid
Hi AnarethoS, there is the possibilty to set the default language (mine is IT) in the Autounattend.xml, at the first start/install. tnx in advance Anto
Hello AnarethoS, First of all Thank you for all your work. It's genius. I've been using your Recovery Tools for some time now, I have developed your scripts and customized the install to our needs, everything works great, but while updating to 1903 after running c:\recovery\sysprep and creating new user at first boot I'm getting 17 notifications from windows. An app default was reset message shows. I have tried to export (Install) and import (OOBE-Custom) using DISM - AppAssociations.xml but no luck so far. I have a Copy profile setup working but apps associations are not copying. How can I get rid of this messages at first boot or keep apps associations from Audit mode to new user? Thank you!
it is possible. His autounattend.xml goal is to setup approriate disk configuration then boot to audit mode. I'm creating my own and validated using Windows ADK
Hello yes it is. And it works great for background, folder options, time and date, etc... What am I missing?
I been looking into it since I am also working on a laptop unit need to reinstall but not urgent so I got time to test. What Windows 10 version did you install since v1903 giving me that app association break unlike v1809? UPDATE: I reread your post sorry, it seems you working at Windows 10 v1903 @AnarethoS When I am using the Recommended UEFI partition scheme, the sysprep script failed to create WinRe so after sysprep script done and reboot, I got stock on Capture. Did I do something wrong? UPDATE: My bad, I mess up the ResetConfig.xml. Sorry
