@LuCeR0 Edit C:\Recovery\OEM\Menu\Settings.ini Modify Debug=0 to Debug=1 Try again. You will have, this time, a Command Prompt (Dos style). I need all the capture from that window to help me.
Hello Anarethos which files must be modified or then you will make the correction for a new update of your version 5.0.1 again thanks for your work I will never tell you enough take care of yourself
Hi @AnarethoS , and thank you for doing this kind of hard work, to make the recovery be more enjoiable, for anyone that need to make a recovery image like OEM's does. I'm still reviewing the wole processes many times, to make sure that i'm understanding everything, which actually i'm still not, because of the luck of experience with this kind of tools. However, i have some questions that will help me more to make my first attempt: Can i make the recovery on the last partition of the currently UEFI installed windows disk? Would it be possible to create manually two volumes, second for recovery and first let Windows format it by itself instead of making script, like normal install procedure? Or, if not possible, how can i create the script for that? Thanks
Ok, i've tried it using Windows 10, and i'm now unable to complete this Step: 7.4.5 Installing recovery software Run the “Install – Windows 1X.cmd” script from “\Windows 1X\Windows 1X Recovery Tools” It does show an error files not found, note that everything from the begining to that step are done, in exactly the same way. It does not create the RECOVERY folder in C:\ at all. i need to copy manually the folder from USB (E):\Windows 1X\Windows 1X Recovery Tools\Recovery to C:\ in Audit Mode? Cause some steps are not clear, it's like jumping some steps, also in the step by step the screenshot for the Scanstate is cropped, so i can't see from where the files are in desktop or usb, like from now on the process will be made from USB. But as described mine doesn't work, i don't know why? A video example will be very helpfull, as all the steps are shown! Can someone help me to go through the steps behind? Thanks
OEM / Factory recovery partition creator - 5.0.1 By AnarethoS Important notes You are about to install a software that will allow you to create a recovery image of Window on a separate partition. This image can be restored later by booting the computer into the recovery environment or from DVD/USB recovery media that you can create later. Please note that your are about to unpack the installer files and not installing it. Please note that this software requires specific partitions configuration on the computer. Please read the included documentation, as you may damage you actual Windows installation by not following it. Plase type I AGREE in the password field to prove you understand what you read! Supported OS All version of Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and 11. Supported languages All languages are supported, but the following languages are available for the user interface: - French - English
Hi. What is the password for "RecoveryTools5.0.1.exe" please? Edit: Found it. The password is "I AGREE" without quotes.
Ok. 5.0.2 is out. The Boot partition on the recovery media in Windows 1X is now 2gb. Tried and working on Windows 11 final with 3 languages pack installed. Should be fine for everyone. Let me know!
If you EXECUTE the software (and not try to unpack it with Winrar or 7zip) the welcome screen will show you some warning + the password. Thanks.
5.0.4 is out. Added : option to install MSIX package during OOBE (added in 5.0.3) Added : option to skip generalize pass during Sysprep Fix : Language detection for the GUI menu (can have problem with MUI) For the generalize pass : You SHOULD use the generalize option. But, I find out that old drivers on non compatible system for Windows 11 can breaks (not able to activate). Skipping the generalization pass could help. But this prevents the use of the full recovery capture option. Use only the option to skip that if you already tried the generalize option and it failed. Also modified a little bit the menu during Sysprep. You now have the option to do a "reset base" or not. When used, this reduce the installation size by removing the option to uninstall updates. I was encofrcing that in the past but now offer the option to skip that.
