How do I remove the automated task running the OfficeRTool.cmd? I've tried the scrubbing option and I'm sure having it run in the background doesn't hurt at all, but it flags the antivirus I have to use for work and I wanna reassure them that it will be the last time I get flagged before running the program again. I did see that changing the Day/Hour values to NULL disables the Automatic Renew Activation and I wanted to make sure that was it.
Lol. Sorry, just wanted to make sure that would actually get rid of the automated task before I get myself in trouble again. Thank you!
Aside from going legit are there any options for unlocking all the features of Office 365? Is KMS the only game in town?
Up until yesterday my installation of Excel was working just fine with SORT() and FILTER() functions available to me. I don't remember how I installed Office previously or what version I was using but I should have left it be. Yesterday I got greedy and tried to figure out a way to unlock the new text functions. I uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and ended up losing SORT() and FILTER in the process. Can anyone say for sure which version I need to install to get SORT() and FILTER() working again? I'm just about at the end of my rope and I might have to buy a license... but I'd prefer not to, if at all possible.
I am using the latest version of Office 365 Professional Plus (version 2208_build 15601.20088) activated using Mondo 2016 license and these funtions are working for me.
Yes, that's the last version I most recently installed but the features were not available. I've just used Office Scrubber to thoroughly eradicate any trace of Office from my system (I hope) and will try again now. I guess it shouldn't matter but do you remember if you installed it from a downloaded package/image or from an online package? Did you activate with OfficeRTool or with KMS_VL_ALL AIO? x86 or x64?
I just scrubbed Office again using Office Scrubber and then reinstalled 365 Professional Plus, activating with KMS_VL_ALL AIO. I still don't have access to any of the functions I need, but aside from that, when I opened Excel I noticed that the custom toolbar I had created was in the ribbon. How can this be after I've ostensibly "scrubbed" the drive of Office? Clearly some vestige of the old installation has remained. How can I ensure that when I uninstall Office it is truly, completely gone?
Are you sure you read the original post completely? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/discussion-microsoft-office-2019.75232/page-33#post-1466365 Did you read the "read me" in the archive and chose the correct (required) uninstall script? Have you checked in manual mode that there are no settings after performing a cleanup? After installing and running programs from the Microsoft Office suite, are you not signed in to your account?
This time I deleted all the files inside the OfficeRTool folder I have in my external HDD, downloaded OfficeRTool from anonfiles, copied the content of OfficeRTool to the OfficeRTool folder inside my external HDD and now OfficeRTool is working although it still doesn't download to the download path I set. It looks like deleting all OfficeRTool files and keeping the Build_Info.ini from a previous version of OfficeRTool and then replacing the previous OfficeRTool files by the latest OfficeRTool ones caused this. Does one have to always use the Build_Info.ini file from the latest version? I replaced the Build_Info.ini file from the latest OfficeRTool version by another Build_Info.ini file from the same OfficeRTool version and I didn't have this problem again so it looks like I'll always have to use the latest version's Build_Info.ini file.
going to update the multi language script, build like s**t, going to update it soon same to Proofing Tools language List script Plus add support to install more than 8 language, replace Choice with set /p
I always use "create offline install package" option since i create an updated iso at the end of each month (latest available updates). Image option is for the official iso available from microsoft which I don't use anymore. Also, I use Current Update Channel and use KMS_VL_ALL (also latest) to activate. One more thing, i forcibly tried registering for the beta / current release preview Channel from withing the excel app (created custom ribbon tab and added "Office Insider" button) for the functions available for those versions and after switching and restarting excel 4 times i was not able to use SORT and FILTER functions (textsplit and other beta functions were available) which means they are not available for the Beta / Current Release Preview Channels. So, in short, stay on the current channel (option '1' in OfficeRTool Channel pickup choice) and office 365 professional plus and sort and filter will work. Start anew one last time, use office scrubber automated script by abbodi, restart your pc, create latest office 365 iso as i mentioned above and install it, activate using abbodi's kms_vl_all and that's it.
No, I ran Full_Scrub.cmd as admin from Window Explorer. I'll try it as instructed in the post. Yes. The readme says Code: * Full_Scrub.cmd completely uninstall and remove Office
I'm not sure what you mean by Manual Mode. I realized was signed in when I installed it one time so I ran scrubber again and made sure I wasn't signed in anywhere and installed again but still no features. I'm going to try again, crossing my t's and dotting my lower-case-j's. I probably just missed a step along the way.
I'm reinstalling again now. Running Office Scrubber first, following instructions in the eponymous thread to a T. Then I'll install Professional Plus 365 from the current channel. I've been using these tools for like 15 years or something so you'd think I'd be good at it by now. Fingers crossed.
What is written in the original post after "Manual steps". The only check is to open the registry editor and view the specified paths.
