Optimize-Offline Guide - Windows Debloating Tool, Windows 1803, 1903, 19H2, 1909, 20H1 and LTSC 2019

Has anybody noticed that in version 4.0.0.10 after removing "Microsoft.Windows.Photos" app, default Windows Photo Viewer doesn't work.

 

Depending on your windows edition yes it has happened to me, messes with file associations for some reason, fixed mine with this reg.

merely posted the code for users to copy and paste, then overwrite their SRP.ps1, keeping their project up to date
... but of course I could/should have gone further and posted changes (as you did above) for immediate application to already live system

 

Your post was perfect and needed go no further. My post wasn't meant as a criticism. I was just sharing the online code I put together to update my live system. There does come a point at which I'll stop looking and updating. Even those three keys from the recent update aren't really necessary, but what the heck!

 

... for what it's worth, didn't take it as such.

and yes, recent changes in Windows 10 do appear to be mostly cosmetic (from a registry standpoint)
as regards O-O, looking forward to any/all additional features, such as long promised GUI

... noticed (only) recently, that Godhand had forked one of farag's (MDL member) ONline scripts (1903-1909),
which might be worth looking at for some users looking to apply optimizations on live OS.

 

why is CortanaApp.View.App missing from the prov. App selection dialogue?

That is awesome, thank you really much! Please, add the new Windows 10 (2004) apps, e.g. Microsoft.Windows.Search, MicrosoftWindows.Client.CBS, MicrosoftWindows.UndockedDevKit, NcsiUwpApp.

It hates cyrillic Windows, but works fine in English Windows, not sure if installing a language pack might help, but if you install Windows from an English image to a vitrtual machine - it will work there.
