Level 1 and 2 lists are free. iBlocklist provides a subscription list called anti-infringement. You can get the same list at blocklist.sigmaprojects.org

Better to use host blocking to block stuff like telemetry.microsoft.com, than use peerblock to block plain IPs and IP ranges. Because, firstly, Windows looks up these host-names to IPs, and secondly the IPs change. Windows also use content servers like akamai, and their IPs are not fixed.

I do not know for Eset - test it - but McAfee and BlackICE firewalls not work. I use Avast with PeerBlock.

There have been reports of IP addresses being "whitelisted" in HOSTS.

    Be careful.

PeerBlock is capable of wide IP range blocking.Windows hosts can not do that. Windows will not block itself. Also, even some commercial firewalls, because they are partners with Microsoft. :laie:

I'm not a profesional programmer. But I am sure that the forum is full of programmers. Someone can patch peerblock.exe to have RT_MANIFEST with requestedExecutionLevel level="asInvoker" - and maybe not so simple ? :w00t2:

Does not work for me. Loaded the list but no block so far (history is always empty). Maybe there's some incompatibility with Comodo Firewall.

EDIT: Works perfect now. I added it to the Comodo exception list. Thanks to MDL community for introduciming me to PeerBlock world

Help, I could update the peerblock list every day before, now it says I cannot update it more often than once a week! Is it change for everyone or my IP getting blacklisted?

Once a week is standard unless you get a blutack subscription.

You can delete the bluetack list in lists directory and update manually by clicking check updates.

Doing that manually every day takes too much effort, I'm lazy...

The list is not updated every day anyways, write a start batch to delete the file and use automatic update of PeerBlock or subscribe the list for cash.
