Looking for a working download link to HP Pavilion dv6000_sp48125_30B7F43_SLP_SLI21_no_whitelist.zip Scouring the Internet. All the links are dead. Have a dx6500 with F.5A bios dated 3/22/2010. The Intel WLAN card not supported in Windows 10. Installed a Broadcom card and got the 104 error so I need a bios without the whitelist. The HP site does not even list this old laptop anymore.
I couldn't flash this particular BIOS. Error message says wrong hardware. I was able to backup my current BIOS so it looks like I'll have to edit it myself. The laptop is old and a BIOS isn't available on HP's website anymore. Is there someplace I can upload the .BAK file created by WinPhlash64 and get it modded? Or is there a tutorial so I can remove the whitelist from this Phoenix BIOS? Does the "F.5A" bios I have apply to more that one model of HP laptop? Maybe I just have the wrong BIOS?

Thank you! It worked! My junk computer is actually useful. Windows 10 is robust on it where the new Linux releases are getting bloated and slow. So add dx6500CA to the list of models this whitelist mod works with. Not too many Canadian model laptops labeled this way, but you never know.
