    Also is it possible to mod the BIOS of the PowerEdge R710 with slic 2.4 & have a OCed CPU though BIOS Mod?

    Modded BIOS works perfectly.
    Flashed it from Q-Flash successfully.
    Activated Windows 7 OEM. No problems so far.

    Hello Serg008, I have tried to flash that exact bios without success. At first I thought it was the included flasher not being x64 compatible so I tried a more recent
    version and it just threw a different error. The error says.....BIOS update failed! Image verification failed.
    Required device or platform function is not present. Error code -142. I am trying to flash thru windows 7 64 bit and the laptop came with Vista x32.
    Could that be the problem?

    boot to XP (with any LiveCD) and flash the mod
