That's nice and simple. So I take it you don't need microcode or flash updates? How do you go about obtaining the update files? From the catalog website or from a virtual machine or something?
Flash is already out of support and removed from Windows Microsoft Update Catalog >> Scroll down to "How to get this update" Spoiler Something to consider also is adding your (extracted) drivers to your image
Always here - https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/discussion-windows-10-final-build-19041-2-3-4-pc-20h1-2-21h1-2-vb_release.80763/page-16 #post-1571109 Quote - Or just use W10UI, it will handle it for you This is the easiest way!
The latest updates for flash remove it from the system. Are these updates worth getting? I don't want to include drivers in the updates because I want it to be hardware agnostic.
The LCU removes flash from the system for quite some time now. When the hardware is not present, the drivers aren't installed.
If I'm pre installing the updates into a windows ISO won't that cause issues. Basically should I include Intel microcode updates for AMD systems?
These are the updates for 1809: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-17763-xxx-pc-rs5.77945/page-216#post-1490183 Just add the AMD Microcode update to the list, if it exists. When you would use the best updates integration/installing tool W10UI you don't need the separate SSU, LCU would be sufficient.
Thanks for the link. When I saw W10UI I thought you meant Win 10 user interface. It's actual tool you can use to download updates? What does it do, combine all the updates for you into one file that you can install with dism?
Why don't you click on the link i provided a while back and read and investigate what it is and does?
