Is it possible to search with part number of a memory module in the BIOS file?
Because my OptiPlex 7000 SFF doesn't allow me to use different RAMs other than Dell approved ones.
If I can remove that whitelist from the BIOS I can use more performant RAM from various vendors.

Hmm, cannot flash it. It allways says:
BIOS image file is same as BIOS ROM.
An update is not necessary at this time.

I even did a downgrad to 1.47 via CD!
Any hints?

You tried to flash via WINUPTP or Setup.bat?

 

I tried both ways again without success!

 

I can share a WINUPTP file with the disabled check.
BIOS image file is same as BIOS ROM won't appear.
