I think MS is about to release a new tech preview build, cause they have just released updates for build 9860 on WU.
It wouldn't surprise me. Based on the automatic update process, it might be reasonable to think that people should run wuapp.exe and check for updates though. From what I know, it just schedules automatic updates to install at a certain time of day by default.
Hahaha...That wobbling emoticon is very funny though. I just searched for Windows updates without receiving anything. Possibly, he is talking about past major Windows updates.
Use stephen's link in Internet Explorer and look at them. The files themselves don't say a whole lot, but you can dig through the contents to find build numbers and filenames.
