I have been testing Windows 10 (for MS) as an insider for almost 2 years now.

At the beginning after installing VMware v-11 workstation (in a Windows 10 beta host) I had to fix it after every (W10) update (so the network would work), I figured out a quick way to fix it & gave feedback on the insider hub, received many thanks from other members.
MS fixed the VMware problem about a year ago so those steps are not necessary any more.

Today after updating my host (w/ WU) to b14926 Pro I decided to update the VMware client from b14390 to b14393 Pro w/ WU using how I explained on my post over @
    https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ndows-Update?p=1272414&viewfull=1#post1272414
That worked fine & after a disk cleanup & activation check all is working great, & have v1607 b14393.187 running now in VMware.

*Now my question, will the client remain activated (digital license) permanently incl. after RS2 rolls out & I update to that or is this a temp. activation since it’s on a VMware client.
It’s not critical, I’m just wondering what to expect.

    TIA

I guess so, cause I don't know what a "temp activation" is?
