sfc /scannow does not work, i tried it many times. It finds corrupted files but cannot fix it. Do you know if i do it from within booted win7 usb stick, will sfc used winsxs folder from usb or still winsxs (which seems to be corrupted) from ssd?
It's not worth it to me. I can live without the newest Powershell . When i will be doing next reinstall, it will be Linux. I am running win7 many years without reinstall. It is surprisingly very stable and it would take too much time to setup every detail in system and backup/restore settings for every app i installed. But i have a hunch that it might be fixable if i force sfc to use clean files from ISO as the source of the repairing process.
@pm67310 the links are not working on mediafire .it tells that its generating a new key but never starts to download.can you please upload them on another host? thank you.
I'm currently running Powershell 5.1 on Windows 7. Is there any good reason why I would want to run a newer version, patched or not?
