Then why not just run WU after the clean install? The offline pre-integration normally works better then using simplix packs online (i always install pre-updated (using simplix and my tool) ISOs), at least with the last few packs.
Because Windows Update takes a lot of time to complete, not to mention needing the internet connection, and needs my input to restart the computer. With Simplix it is much better, offline, and automated. Anyway, can anyone reproduce this problem of mine, why Google Chrome shows that error after applying Simplex?
Very strange. Later I'm going to format my computer again, and will try again, but this time I will video record all the process from the clean install of Windows. I use en_windows_7_enterprise_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_677651.iso with hash a491f985dccfb5863f31b728dddbedb2ff4df8d1. Going to take a while though.
Don't forget to save the updatelog in c:\windows. Installing pre-simplixed enterprise. All pre-simplixed installs are from this iso: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...stall-esd-creation.79421/page-11#post-1561195
Thank you Enthousiast for your testing. It is on my end. I tried it again, even I fully video-recorded all the process, but this time I updated Simplix to the current latest version (v19.11.15), which before I had v19.10.10, and to my surprise, that Google Chrome error didn't show up! Even after installing the drivers, and using third-party cleaners like BleachBit, which was the main suspect of the cause before, Google Chrome successfully checked for updates. So I still can't explain what caused this problem before. I hope it doesn't come back later. So sorry for the inconvenience.
Latest is 19.11.18: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...win7-distribution.45005/page-140#post-1560691
maybe i lost some news about Simplix Pack... the last time i integrated it into a clean iso there were about 170 hotfixes... today i'm integrating the 19.11.18 and there are 65 hotfixes (same edition and architecture as last time)... is that right??
Should we install the 19.11.15 update pack with the 19.11.18 patch or wait? A link isn't posted to the update pack, only the patch. I found the 19.11.15 update pack at softpedia.
thanks Enthousiast but... even if i read that i only understand 1 hotfix (KB3125574) got an issue... i don't understand why the integration with SimplixPack-19.10.10 added 166 hotfixes and this SimplixPack-19.11.18 added "only" 65 hotfixes, on a pure clean Windows 7 SP1 iso.
Today, Using LTSC 2019-x64 (Host) to create an UpdatePack7 19.11.18 (Failed) KB3184143 - The parameter is incorrect. KB4019990 - The parameter is incorrect. Last month, UpdatePack7 19.10.10 (Finished) Any thoughts as to why?
could be possible from an updated iso (wim) of Windows 7 make a Mini/Live Windows 7 (AKA Windows 7 PE) ?? if yes, is there a simple tool?
