    The latest update pack only installing 58 updates (X86), previous update packs have 160+ updates though, I used UP7Integrator.

    its like that since november pack when simplix decided to include KB3125574-v4-x86-x64 which supersedes over 100 other updates, this is what he said back in november (google translation):

    "This includes several unwanted updates, but the kit disables the collection and sending of telemetry, so that they are completely safe. There is only one drawback for this solution - an increase in dialing size by ~ 100 MB, otherwise only advantages, installation and integration are much faster."

    I always wait until I see the "Enthousiast approved" version before downloading!

    I will wait till monday to do that, for the last releases there were quick revisions released by Simplix :)

    Is this now the last Simplix update version since the official Microsoft updates has officially ended for Windows 7?

    Or is it expected that there will be future versions with tweaks or other updates? I've seen it said that Microsoft still might release the occasional update for serious security matters.

    If you plan to do clean install, pre-integration is better.

    Exactly, it's the right thing to do.
    For installation on a system in use, it's best to do it in safe mode.

    Never needed to run it in safe mode on a live system, but i never used it online anyway, only for testing purposes.

    im having an issue with UpdatePack7R2-20.1.17 after installing i get a black desktop wallpaper no matter what i set my wallpaper to but the previous update UpdatePack7R2-19.12.15 works just fine
