Ya I read it and it was too much for me to understand I just want to install w7 with no upgrade to w10(plz explain in short and easy language)
I think when I explain it'll be complicated by 10x. Summary: You need to download MDL Win 7 Tool (1.3GB) plus download stock Win 7 SP1 ISO and put those on SSD and you can read Readme.txt to first run Simplix.bat then Cleanup scripts to remove update cache and stuffs like that (Dism Rebase in 8.1 or 10) to trim WIM files and then trim unneeded editions to slim down win 7 to under 4GB. It will take time though. I believe what I'm saying is flying out of your head. I'd suggest asking @shhnedo if he has a trimmed and debloated W7 with 2019 or 2020 patched ISOs. I do have a link from a friend of mine called scarface who made Win 7 ISO its huge now because he has added most drivers and tweaks.
Didn't test this March 2020 edition but from my past history 2017+ I've been using scarface's homebrewed ISO and Harkaz's rebase. I believe @shhnedo might share his homebrewed W7 ISO if he's willing since I have also used his ISO in the past.
Thanks for explaining me this much it's looks like I have to do lots of work for w7 I will try this method
I found the msdn dump on the eye is it ok to download from there?? Also if I install w7 pro what to do next? Should I use this op script or something?
1. It's ok to download from the eye. 2. Make the installation. 3. Install all the missing drivers. ( Device Manager ) 4. Activation. 5. Use UpdatePack7R2-20.3.12.exe with /IE11 command /switch i.e. Code: UpdatePack7R2-20.3.12.exe /ie11 OR Code: UpdatePack7R2-20.3.12.exe /ie11 /Silent 6. Install .NET, Antivirus & other stuff. P.S. If you manage to integrate windows updates, etc. things directly in the ISO, everything will be automatically installed & updated as soon as you finish the installation! For that you have to look into scripts & other options. Thanks. ...
Updating Win 7 after installing, is not the best of idea, especially for a new device with NVMe only drives & USB 3 only ports. For them, integrate all the updates, along with USB 3 & NVMe drivers, in the ISO itself. Thanks. ...
Thanks for the explanation I will do this and if I found any problem I will ask you(for time being I installed windows 8 but I will move to w7 shortly)
Just use the MDL SiMPLiX ISO tool, provide a win 10 source iso and a win 7 source iso, if needed, provide the desired drivers and run the command of your liking.
@gkd : He is talking about this tool : https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-aio-iso-with-install-wim-esd-creation.79421/ ( The tool is unmatched! ) Thanks. ...
windows 7 as well as win xp vista win8 win8.1 windows 10 replace them works very well on x86 and x64 so in my opinion the old windows will be forgotten shortly it is damage but hey
Yes, you can use Win 10 LTSC. ( I would advise to put that tool related queries in that related thread only! ) Thanks. ...
all the people dont have latest technology so they need to think about it... I have old laptops which is not replaceable nor upgradeble lol some of old windsws are light and easy for use in old pc(w10 is trash compared to previous lol)
ok thanks i will ask on related thread only if i got doubts(due to crona i have high internet usage so i will do it later lol)
