    I realized it after some time. Carlos was right. The path to the folder with the script contained a single space. I removed it and ran the script again. Thanks to Carlos for pointing the cause of the errors.

    Although the earlier errors were gone, still many errors have occurred. The DISM.log showed five types of errors :
    1. DISM Try to initialize Panther logging 1 times, last error: 0x0 - occurred 24 times.

    2. 2021-07-21 12:23:53, Info CBS Failed to find a matching version for servicing stack: C:\AiO_Mount\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft-windows-servicingstack_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7601.24563_none_67d7ad5ef7316689\ [HRESULT = 0x80070490 - ERROR_NOT_FOUND]

    3.2021-07-21 12:23:53, Info CBS Failed to find servicing stack directory in online store. [HRESULT = 0x80070490 - ERROR_NOT_FOUND]

    4. Run the /Get-TargetEditions option to see what edition of Windows you can upgrade to.
    [hrError=0x80070032] - CTransmogManager::EventError

    5. 2021-07-21 12:24:02, Error DISM DISM Transmog Provider: PID=11004 Failed to Upgrade! - CTransmogManager::TransmogrifyWorker(hr:0x80070032)

    Thanks to all who took interest in this problem. I am looking forward to further suggestions for solving the errors.

    This is not the AIO ISO creation tool thread, this is the Updatepack thread, stuff related to the tool should be posted in the tool thread.

    With the 21.08.11 update pack, the resulting ISO does not fit a DVD-R any more for me...

    Sadly, I did not keep an older update pack that allowed it to fit (especially one that would allow to *not* update IE and add hyphenations and dictionaries !)...

    Is it possible to download old update packs, please ?

    The size should be approximately the same as with the previous pack, only the monthly rollup is replaced by the new one.

    Else use the MDL SiMPLiX AiO ISO creation tool with install.esd option.

    The fit was tight already in the past (with about only 100 KB left free on the DVD-R, when I last made one, back in mid 2018 or so), but with the new update pack (and the fact that it, sadly, includes stuff no one needs: IE11 is *dead* and won't display modern web sites, so why updating it ???), I lack 100 KB or so to make everything fit on the disk...

    Sadly, it fails to include the drivers I need (bad signature error, while the good old UP7Integrator script got no trouble with them), so the resulting disk, while indeed smaller in size and fitting a DVD-R, is not recognized on the computer I'm trying to install it onto...

    I however found an old backup I made some time ago, with UpdatePack7R2-20.2.21.exe on it, and it does produce an ISO image that fits (just barely as well, by a few dozens of KB).

    Problem solved (for me, and for now), but I still think the Simplix pack should allow disabling all the extra stuff (IE11 and other tools that are not part of a genuine Win7 installation)...

    IE(11) is not a browser only, it's part of the core of windows.

    You can use the Modern version of my SiMPLiX AiO ISO creation tool with install.esd, or you also can use the split wim option from the Legacy version and span all over 2 separate ISOs/DVDs, or use DVD9.

    Hi. I am a newbie here and have a question which I hope is not inappropriate. Its regards this thread and others like it where the thread pages are from 40 to 201 pages in length. I read every post in the Windows Updater thread (40 pages) and it took me over 4 hours, because I took notes and made links and downloaded items from poster's links.

    So my question is: On long threads, is it OK to ask questions about things that might have been covered somewhere in, say, 201 pages of posts?

    Search is sometimes useful, but I always try to use other resources before asking something that might get me a warning or a scathing reply.

    As I read the Windows Updater thread, I came across several times when someone had asked something that had already been covered a week, month or year prior.

    If one reads every thread, it is amazing how much one can learn and obtain juicy tidbits of information to document and file away, but reading every thread takes dedication and uninterrupted focus.

    Thank you

    Also, a question I have about this thread OP:

    If the Simplix Pack contains all updates for Windows 7, since Windows 7 first released, and up to last day of support of Windows 7 (sans telemetry and tracking); then why are there different versions of this Simplix Pack being made available?

    Thank you

    P.S. As I do not yet have 5 posts, and do not wish to spam in order to make a request, may I please request that Each Category of the Forum Main Page have a Sticky Thread containing an updated downloads page for any post that has a link to a download, so one doesn't have to spend a lot of time searching for something they may not even know how to describe or have the knowledge for proper key words? Perhaps users who post links to downloads could be asked to maintain their links in these Download pages.

    There are a lot of good things to download, but revisions and updates are scattered across many pages and over weeks, months and years. If all downloads for MDL could be in one location (Item to download, Latest Revision, Link to OP), it would save member's time.

    Thank you
